We are finally here. The NHL Playoffs are here and the quest for Lord Stanley's Cup is upon us and we have two games on the second day to keep things going. Smaller slates mean fewer options at each position, but a chance to take a stand on your favorite plays.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/25/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Patrice Bergeron - C, BOS vs CLS (FD - $7,800, DK - $6,700)
The Bruins are on to the second round and with only two games on the slate, we have seen pricing get a bit softer. Bergeron was always in the mid to high 7K range on DraftKings, but we now see him under 7K tonight. That inherently brings a bit of saving from where he should be, thus making the first power-play unit a bit easier to stack. Two points in the final two games of the first-round should see him continue the momentum tonight.
Vladimir Tarasenko - W, STL vs DAL (FD - $7,900, DK - $6,500)
Tarasenko had no points in the final two games of the first round, but now fully rested, he should be able to come out firing. He is another player who has seen his price take a slight hit, but that's a good thing overall and we want to grab the savings while we can. The over-under in this game is set at 4.5, which is hilariously low, but he should still have plenty of shots to reach value.
DFS Defenders to Consider
John Klingberg - D, DAL @ STL (FD - $6,000)
If defense wins championships than we should be putting the Stars at the top of the list on who can win the Cup. They have some of the best goaltending and defense in the league and are led by John Klingberg, who was able to find the back of the net to clinch the series for the Stars the other night. The ice time will always be there for him on the first defensive pairing, but a bit of upside being on the first power-play unit.
David Savard - D, CLS @ BOS (FD - $3,800, DK - $4,100)
Real talk, Savard was an absolute beast for the Blue Jackets in the first round. He had 15 blocked shots, four shots, and two points, which is honestly amazing for his normal level of production. Columbus is fully rested for this series and should come out firing in the first two games on the road.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Ben Bishop - G, DAL @ STL (FD - $8,100, DK - $7,600)
Bishop is one of the cheaper goalies on this slate, I know, that's not saying a whole lot with only two games. But he has over 30 saves in each of the final three games in the first round and with the Blues only having an implied team total of 2.48, he can come away with the win tonight.
