DraftKings Lineup Picks & Sleepers (4/6/17): MLB DFS Advice

Justin Bales's DraftKings analysis and advice. The top MLB DFS lineup picks on for 4/6/17, as well as a couple of sleepers for daily fantasy baseball rosters.

These are the best type of days for MLB. We have a large early slate followed by a manageable late slate. If you win a lot money early, you can spend it late. If you lose money early, you can win it back late. Right?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/6/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

You can read our FanDuel and Yahoo DFS lineup picks as well. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Colorado Rockies v. Chase Anderson

The Rockies have been playing fairly well early this season, and they get another great matchup against Anderson today. This game opened at even, but it is set at 9.5 runs. That means both teams will likely be scoring today, but the Rockies have such a high powered offense that it's impossible to avoid them.

Boston Red Sox v. Chad Kuhl

The Red Sox have one of the best offenses in the MLB, and you may be able to get them at somewhat of a discount today, as a few of their players are dealing with illnesses. Still, they are -195 favorites in a game set at 8.5 runs, and they have plenty of usable guys against Kuhl, who has been hittable early in his career.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Matt Harvey - vs ATL ($8,100)

A few years ago Harvey was one of the best pitchers in the MLB, but now he's third in the pecking order for New York. He has also struggled this spring, but he's in a good spot tonight. He's a huge -181 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs, and he's surprisingly cheap. He does come with some risk, but he can be used in all leagues, as he's only available on the smaller late game slate.

Brandon McCarthy - vs SD ($7,200)

McCarthy got off to a hot start in limited games last season, but he struggled to close out his year. Still, he comes with a great price tag, and he gets an elite matchup today. He's a ridiculous -230 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs, and he should have no problems hitting value today.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Yasmani Grandal - vs SD ($3,400)

It's tough to avoid Grandal when he is facing a below average right-handed pitcher. He is a catcher that comes with plenty of power, and he's hitting in a solid lineup. He has also been a significantly better hitter at home, and he can be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Mark Reynolds - at MIL ($3,700)

Reynolds got off to a hot start, and it's only a matter of time before his price tag shoots up. He gets a good matchup against Anderson in a hitter friendly stadium, and he should be able to continue to find this early success. He's a great option by himself, but he can also be used in a Colorado stack, as well.

Second Base (2B)

Neil Walker - vs ATL ($3,500)

Walker is at his best when he is facing left-handed pitching in New York. That will be the case tonight, as he faces off against Garcia, who has struggled against right-handed hitters. Walker makes a consistent option, but he also has sneaky power, which gives him good upside. He can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Tim Anderson - ($3,700)

Anderson is another player that has hit significantly better at home, as he hit .315 in Chicago last season. He displayed good power with even better speed in hit short Major League stint last season, as well. He gets a good matchup against Boyd, and Anderson can be used in all leagues.

Third Base (3B)

Jose Reyes - vs ATL ($3,900)

Reyes struggled at home last season, but he found quite a bit of success against left-handed pitchers. Sometime has to give tonight, and the Mets are expects to score plenty of runs. Reyes isn't the most powerful player on the slate, but he showed he still has speed and he can string hits together. He's a solid option in all leagues.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Andrew Benintendi - vs PIT ($4,000)

Benintendi continues to make an elite option because of his price. He's the top prospect in baseball, but he has looked great to start the season. He's hitting high in one of the best offenses in the MLB, and he gets a great matchup against Kuhl today. He can safely be used in all leagues.

Andrew Toles - vs SD ($2,800)

Toles' price tag is low because he platoons for the Dodgers, but he's currently the leadoff hitter against right-handed pitching. They face Weaver tonight, who is a weak right-handed pitcher. Toles will make a great salary relief option in all leagues again today.
