DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/24/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on April 24th, 2022. Dan Palyo provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The first round of the NBA playoffs has been a lot of fun to watch and the way these games have been scheduled, with three or four games every day has led to some excellent DFS slates, too. Today, we have four more games as Game Four in each of the series kicks off and a day full of nationally televised games. So if the weather is warm enough, dust off that grill and get some meat a-grilling, pass me a cold boy, and let's have ourselves a day!

This is going to be a special "value edition" to the NBA DFS picks because you probably already know that the best players on each team are pretty good plays. And because I am the DFS editor and content manager and I can do pretty much whatever I want! Seriously, though, with the value being sparse on these slates, I see a lot of merit in playing some more balanced lineups and so I will be featuring players who are 7k or less only in today's article.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/24/22, with the slate locking at 1:00 pm ET. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our live-updating NBA injury updates tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. As always, feel free to follow me @ThunderDanDFS on Twitter.  Let's get to it - good luck RotoBallers!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Bogdan Bogdanovic - SG/SF ($6,100 DK, $7,000 FD)

Bog-Bog has been simply awesome in the last two games for Atlanta and is a huge reason they have been competitive in those games against Miami with Trae Young struggling quite a bit in this series. He had a big game against Cleveland in the play-in game and sees a lot of usage off the bench. He can do a little of everything and is a knock-down shooter from deep. He makes for a great mid-range play today and I'll continue to run him out there instead of Trae Young as I think Atlanta will continue to lean on Bog to keep their offense moving.

Tyler Herro - PG/SG/SF ($6,800 DK, $5,900 FD)

Herro finally had himself a game in Game Three, posting 24 points, seven boards, and four assists in 33 minutes off the bench. The Heat could be without Kyle Lowry today, which would push Herro into even more minutes and shots. Even if Lowry does play, Herro is too cheap for his skill-set and his ownership won't be nearly as high. I am on him either way in a good matchup against this Atlanta defense. He has dual eligibility on both sites and like Bogdan, he's a nice pivot off the star player on his own team who will be more heavily owned.

Delon Wright - PG/SG ($3,800 DK, $4,300 FD)

Wright might be one of the chalkier values today, but I'm all over him again in any format. He's now played 29 minutes in two straight games and while he doesn't look to score much, he does enough rebounding, and passing, and gets enough defensive stats to hit value. He's been good for a 5x value at this price on either site in all three games in this series and even if you are playing some more balanced builds, you will want a least one reliable value piece. Wright is that guy.

Others to consider: Klay Thompson, Alex Caruso

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Gordon - SF/PF ($5,600 DK, $5,100 FD)

AG had been slumping badly in this series but came on strong in Game Three with 18 points, 12 boards, and four assists which were good for 42 DK points. The Nuggets need that type of production again today badly if they want to hang with the Warriors in a high-scoring affair. He's just far too cheap for his upside and I'm willing to accept some bust risk for one of the cheapest 40-point ceilings on the slate.

Max Strus - SG/SF ($4,400 DK, $4,600 FD)

Mad Max has been starting for the Heat as they bring Duncan Robinson off the bench. Strus had his best game of the series with 20 points, but only added one board and one assist. He's usually good for a few more counting stats and had two steals in both Games One and Two. If he can combine his defense with his offense, he will finally bust out for a really big DFS game, but I'm okay with 20-25 points from him at his price, too.

Grayson Allen - SG/SF ($4,600 DK, $5,200 FD)

Allen got a bigger price hike on FanDuel than he did on DraftKings, so adjust accordingly. He came off the bench in Game Three instead of taking Middleton's spot in the starting lineup, but he responded in a big way with 22 points on 8-12 shooting (5-7 from deep). He should continue to see an increased role with Middleton being out for a while and the Bucks badly need him to make those deep balls as the Bulls' defense will be collapsing on Giannis and trying to stop him at the rim.

Others to consider: Draymond Green, Mikal Bridges

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Pics

Bobby Portis - PF/C ($6,200 DK, $6,200 FD)

How did you like the Bobby Portis throwback picture on the cover today? Portis was supposed to be part of this Chicago Bulls rebuild before his bad behavior and inconsistent play got him shipped off in a trade. Portis has settled in nicely with the Bucks this season and played well as both a starter and a reserve.

He's an athletic big man who can stretch the floor and get up and down in transition. In Game Three, the Bucks moved him into the starting lineup next to Brook Lopez and went big with Giannis at the three. The results speak for themselves as the Bucks hammered the Bulls inside and blew them out. Portis had 18 points and 16 boards in only 25 minutes and didn't play his final rotation due to the blowout. Assuming he starts again, he's in a great spot against the Bulls who can't match the size of Portis and Lopez together.

Others to consider: Brook Lopez, JaVale McGee
