DraftKings Starting Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw - P, vs PHI ($11,800)

This might be the cheapest that Kershaw is priced all year as he makes his return from the DL. Kershaw is obviously one of the best pitchers in the game when he's healthy, and while there's the risk that he's still shaking off some rust, his immense upside easily makes him worth playing at this price. The Phillies are merely a league-average lineup against lefties with a .318 wOBA, and Kershaw gets the advantage at pitcher-friendly Dodger Stadium.

Sean Newcomb - P, vs WAS ($8,100)

Newcomb is having himself an outstanding breakout season, posting a 26.6% K-rate with a 3.10 FIP. Surprisingly, the Nationals have actually been a poor lineup against lefties this year, putting up a .304 wOBA. This makes Newcomb an effective play at a low price, as well as a possible contrarian option.

DraftKings Infielders

Wilson Ramos - C, at OAK ($3,800)

Ramos is crushing the ball this season, putting up a 132 wRC+ with seven homers and 26 RBI. Opposing starter Daniel Mengden has just a 16.2% K-rate with a 4.20 SIERA, so there's likely some regression headed his way.

Edwin Encarnacion - 1B, at MIN ($4,200)

Encarnacion is an awesome power option tonight, as he enters Thursday with 13 homers and 33 RBI. He's been on fire over the last 15 days, batting .341 with a 1.120 OPS and four dingers. He may be able to add to his home run count against Jake Odorizzi, who has a very high 1.82 HR/9.

Jonathan Schoop - 2B, vs NYY ($3,700)

While Schoop has been underwhelming this year, he's still got plenty of power potential, particularly at home in one of the best hitting environments in the league. He's facing off against Sonny Gray, who has an atrocious 5.98 ERA this year.

Miguel Andujar - 3B, at BAL ($4,200)

On the flip side of the Yankees-Orioles matchup, the Yankees have a great opportunity to put up some runs against Andrew Cashner. Cashner has a 1.64 HR/9 and a 5.07 ERA, so I'm stacking as many Yankees as I can afford against him on Thursday. Andujar is a strong option from the Yanks lineup, as he's got a .340 wOBA this year.

Carlos Correa - SS, at BOS ($4,700)

Correa has mashed left-handed pitching this season, posting a 141 wRC+ with an 18.5% walk-rate. Red Sox lefty Drew Pomeranz has been a mess this year with a 6.75 ERA. Correa should have a huge day out of the Astros cleanup spot where he can rake in RBIs in one of the best hitter's parks in the league.

DraftKings Outfielders

Justin Upton - OF, at DET ($4,300)

Upton is another lefty-killer to consider, as he's got a career .378 wOBA against southpaws. Tigers starter Drew Carpenter isn't very qualified to be starting a major league game, so the Angels are going to put up a bunch of runs on him. As the Angels three-hitter, Upton can cash in on both runs and RBI.

Eddie Rosario - OF, vs CLE ($4,100)

Rosario's price is too low for the kind of season he's had, as he's been a top 20 fantasy outfielder in most formats. Rosario has a 128 wRC+ and has a nice opportunity against Shane Bieber, who is making his major league debut.

Ender Inciarte - OF, vs WAS ($4,100)

Inciarte had a huge value bump after the Ronald Acuna, Jr. injury, as he's now the Braves leadoff man. Leadoff hitters are particularly valuable in DFS, where you need to maximize plate appearances. He can also score lots of runs atop one of the best lineups in the league.
