DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/29/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Giannis Antetokounmpo - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 29, 2022. Euan Leith provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Tuesday, Rotoballers! Most teams have eight or fewer games remaining on their 2022 regular-season schedule, and the tankathon seems well and truly on for the bottom of the standings teams. Meanwhile, there's still a ton to play for in the top four of the Eastern Conference and seeds four through six in the West. The reliability of NBA lineups will begin to waver more and more as we wind down, but the Rotoballer staff will be there every game to help you cash those DFS lineups.

A whopping five games populate tonight's slate beginning at 7 pm Eastern. Most eyes will be glued to the Bucks-76ers showdown as the battle for seeding in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, it could be the Westbrook show for the Lakers in Dallas tonight as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are doubtful in what's quickly becoming some must-win games for the purple and gold.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/29/22 with a slate lock at 7 pm ET. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kyrie Irving - PG/SG, BKN vs. DET ($10,800 DraftKings; $9,800 FanDuel)

You can't keep a player as talented as Kyrie Irving down for too long, and that's why I'm expecting a bounceback from the polarizing superstar against the Pistons. On Sunday, he played an emotional game against the Hornets in a 119-110 loss. It was his first game in Brooklyn this season, and I expect tonight's game to be more typical for the seven-time All-Star. Even if you're not buying the narrative, I'm weaving; this is still a guy who has played part-time this year but can drop 60 points on anyone with the drop of a hat as he did to Orlando only two weeks ago. Over his last six games, Irving is averaging 33.7 points on 21.2 attempts, accompanied by 6.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 5.0 threes, and 2.7 stocks (steals+blocks). It's difficult to pass over a player with that kind of upside.

Russell Westbrook - PG, LAL at DAL ($8,800 DK; $8,100 FD)

Russ is trying to redeem his 2021-22 campaign with a late-season resurgence and some timely media comments. While we don't get DFS points for sympathy, Westbrook will have plenty of on-the-court avenues to come through on Tuesday evening. With LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (ankle) all but out for the Dallas contest, it should be a familiar high-usage Westbrook game for DFS. Over his last five games, the 2017 MVP averages 21.2 points on 52.4 percent shooting, with 8.6 assists, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.4 three-pointers per game. While Dallas provides a tough matchup for opposing backcourts these days, Westbrook's projected usage will be able to overcome the challenge of this Mavericks defense.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - SG, WAS vs. CHI ($5,500 DK; $5,200 FD)

With Kyle Kuzma (knee) remaining on the sidelines, there's offensive volume to be filled in the nation's capital. Therefore, I'm taking a ride on the KCP rollercoaster tonight and seeing what I get during this up-and-down stretch for the veteran guard. The 2013 first-round pick has scored at least 30 DK points in three of his previous five outings but never in back-to-back games. I'm betting he breaks this weird trend against a Bulls defense, giving up the sixth-most DK points to guards over the last 15 games.

Also consider: Luka Doncic vs. DAL ($11,400; $10,500), Tyrese Maxey vs. MIL ($6,400; $6,100), Malik Monk vs. DAL ($5,400; $5,700)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF/PF, MIL at PHI ($11,400 DK; $11,400 FD)

I cannot wait to watch this game tonight. Antetokounmpo is one of the few players in this league I trust to show up when the lights shine brightest, and this game against the 76ers should have everyone tuning in. While the reigning Finals MVP is dealing with a nagging knee issue, all reports suggest he will be good to go for Tuesday. The Bucks will need him as they find themselves in a four-way race to the finish with Miami, Boston, and Philadelphia for the No. 1 seed in the East. The two-time MVP has missed a game here or there in the last week, but he's been crushing it in March. In 10 games this month, Giannis averages 31.5 points on 57.3 percent shooting, with 12.6 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.3 steals for 59.9 DK points per game.

Saddiq Bey - SF, DET at BKN ($7,000 DK; $5,500 FD)

Follow the volume! With Jerami Grant (calf) officially done for the year, I'm looking forward to steaming Saddiq Bey in my season-long fantasy basketball leagues. However, he can also be an excellent DFS asset, thanks to the number of shots heading his way. He's underperformed his $7,000 price tag recently but has the chance to smash that if he can get his shots up against the Nets. In 11 March games, Bey's attempted at least 15 shots five times. When he hits that benchmark, he's averaging 54.8 DK points. Brooklyn's allowing the third-most DK points per game to small forwards over the last 15 games, and it lines up perfectly for a big Bey performance in the Big Apple.

Also consider: Kevin Durant vs. DET ($11,300; $10,800), DeMar DeRozan at WAS ($8,300; $7,900), Bojan Bogdanovic at LAC ($5,600; $5,500)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Rudy Gobert - C, UTA at LAC ($7,300 DK; $7,700 FD)

On Sunday, Gobert (leg) missed Utah's loss to Dallas in a crucial playoff-seeding showdown. The Mavs outrebounded the Gobertless-Jazz 45-36, and his presence was missed on the glass. However, with Hassan Whiteside (foot) already declared out for tonight's contest against the Clippers, Gobert should get all the opportunity he can manage if he is deemed fit to start. The Frenchman's played Los Angeles two times this year, and he averages 19.5 points, 16.5 boards, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game for 47.4 DK points. With Utah, Dallas, and Denver all scrapping for the 4, 5, and 6 seeds in the Western Conference, I expect Gobert to give it a go and provide a building-block-like return for your DFS roster.

Marvin Bagley III - PF/C, DET at BKN ($5,600 DK; $6,300 FD)

No, don't restart you phone/tablet/laptop/dial-up computer. A DFS writer is recommending Marvin Bagley in 2022. Despite a tumultuous start to his NBA career, the No. 2 pick from 2018 is finding his footing in Detroit and falls into my speculative flyer bucket for tonight's game versus Brooklyn. Like Saddiq Bey, Jerami Grant's absence will benefit Bagley. He's played at least 30 minutes in three of his previous six contests and is coming through with 24 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.0 stocks per game. If he gets the minutes, I expect him to obtain another 30-point evening for our DFS rosters, with the potential for more if the game hits its 229-point over/under projection.

Also consider: Nikola Vucevic at WAS ($8,000; $7,600)
