DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/25/22): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 25th, 2022. John Brubaker provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Friday, RotoBallers! I hope you all had an excellent Thanksgiving filled with food, family, friends, and football. While we didn't have any NBA slates yesterday, we have a quick turnaround with a 13-game NBA slate this evening. We've had some success in these articles thus far in the early stages of the season, so let's get right after it once again tonight! Once you've done your Black Friday shopping, kick back, relax, and win some money!

Tonight, we have ourselves a 13-game slate on this lovely Friday. With both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates accordingly to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can also change during the day, so I'll do my best to update you as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/25/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Ja Morant, vs NO (FD: $10,100, DK: $10,700)

I'll start this slate off with Ja Morant. The Grizzlies are fairly injury-ridden as things stand right now, and will be missing Ziaire Williams and Danny Green, who they've been missing all season, as well as Desmond Bane and likely Santi Aldama. Morant has consistently been putting up huge numbers, lastly putting up 34 points, seven rebounds, and six assists Tuesday night against the Kings. I project Morant to a whopping 38.59% usage rate across 34 minutes tonight against the Pelicans, and it certainly a tough fade in this matchup.

Jordan Clarkson, at GS (FD: $7,000, DK: $6,700)

Following the departures of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert in the offseason, Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen have seemingly taken over as the "1A and 1B" on this roster. Clarkson has had four straight games of 20+ points while mixing in rebounds and assists throughout. As it stands now, the Jazz will continue to be without Mike Conley and Rudy Gay tonight, which bodes well for Clarkson as I have him projected for a 25.74% usage rate across 36 minutes tonight. The matchup against Golden State is tough, and Clarkson's price is rising, but it's still too low for me to fade here.

Devonte' Graham, at MEM (FD: $3,500, DK: $3,500)

Finally, I'll mention Devonte' Graham. Graham has always been a pretty good player from a fantasy perspective, and that's held true this year. He's essentially a free square on both sides tonight, as my model projects him for a 17.74% usage rate across 30 minutes. He's played 22 and 28 minutes across his last two games, respectively, while averaging 20 points, 4.5 rebounds, and two assists in those two games. The Pelicans will likely be without CJ McCollum tonight, opening the door for Graham to once again have a huge game relative to his extremely cheap price.

Also consider: Russell Westbrook (FD: $7,200, DK: $7,800), Jose Alvarado (FD: $4,700, DK: $3,800)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Davis, at SA (FD: $11,800, DK: $10,900)

Boy, is Anthony Davis having himself an awesome season? Coming into tonight, he's averaging 26.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while also averaging 2.1 blocks per game. His price has been adjusted, but it's still difficult to fade him on any given slate. As of now, LeBron James is a toss-up to play tonight's game. Should LeBron play in this matchup against the Spurs, I don't like this play nearly as much, but if LeBron ends up sitting AD becomes an absolute must-play against the San Antonio who ranks 20th in power forward efficiency.

Kelly Olynyk, at GS (FD: $5,300, DK: $5,200)

I mentioned earlier that it's been Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen as the "1A and 1B" on this Jazz team, but from a fantasy perspective, Kelly Olynyk isn't too far off. Olynyk is averaging 12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists on the season while playing nearly 30 minutes if not more in each game. I have him projected for a 14.01% usage rate across 33 minutes in tonight's game with both Rudy Gay and Mike Conley out, and he sees a strong matchup against the Warriors who rank 26th in center efficiency.

Al Horford, vs SAC (FD: $5,500, DK: $5,600)

An article favorite here, as I'll be recommending Al Horford for the third straight week. Horford once again came through for us last Friday, scoring 18 points while adding in seven rebounds and two assists against the Pelicans. I was warier on the play last Friday than the week before due to the difficult matchup, and tonight's matchup against the Kings isn't much easier, as Sacramento ranks 4th in center efficiency. However, my model projects Horford for an 11.55% usage rate across 34 minutes tonight, and if it isn't broken, I'm not going to fix it, so I'll recommend him once again.

Also consider: Wendell Carter Jr. (FD: $7,000, DK: $7,600), Usman Garuba (FD: $4,200, DK: $3,700)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jonas Valanciunas, at MEM (FD: $5,600, DK: $6,300)

Last but not least we'll head back to the Pelicans/Grizzlies showdown to take a look at Jonas Valanciunas. This game has a projected 102.53 pace according to my model, which ranks fourth among all games on the slate. I project JoVal to a 21.14% usage rate across 25 minutes, in what should be a strong matchup against the Grizzlies that rank 27th in center efficiency. It's worth noting that Valanciunas is a 1.26 DraftKings and 1.22 FanDuel point-per-minute player when McCollum is playing and that number jumps to a whopping 1.52 DraftKings and 1.46 FanDuel points-per-minute player with McCollum off the floor. As long as he gets the minutes, he should have himself a huge night.

Also consider: Nikola Jokic (FD: $11,000, DK: $11,400)
