Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (5/26/20) - DraftKings, Daily Fantasy

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings. FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 5/26/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings which can also be related to FanDuel contests as well.

We have a three-game main slate on DraftKings that involves teams from the DreamHack Masters' Spring 2020 series. This is an exciting tournament as it features some of the best teams in the world which means we should see highly competitive matchups.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 at 8:00 AM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections and DFS Cheat Sheets! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 (Best of 3)

  • FaZe (-180) vs. Spirit (+130)
  • Fnatic (-425) vs. GODSENT (+270)
  • 100 Thieves (-130) vs. Gen. G (-105)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

Brollan is relatively cheap compared to his upside that he brings so this seems to be a great spot to look his way. He is just $8,600 and is averaging 64 DraftKings points per game which is the second-highest average on the slate.

He has registered 50+ DraftKings points in 11 out of his last 12 games and owns a 1.09 K/D ratio over the last 18 maps played. In addition, he has a .73 kill per round rate which shows how active he is every round. Brollan is viable in all formats and is one of the better overall plays on the slate for his price.

Autimatic is ridiculously cheap on this slate checking in at $7,400.0He is averaging 56.5 DraftKings points per game and over the last month, he has had a 1.13 K/D ratio. Over that same time span, he has had a .74 kill per round rate while having a .65 death per round rate.

He has faced 100 Thieves in 2 matches and in those matches, he racked up a 1.75 K/D ratio while having a +18 K/D differential. For his price, he stands out as a great value captain choice on this slate.

Other captain plays: KRIMZ, mir

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

Somedieyoung (SDY) really looks like a good tournament option due to his low price point. He is averaging 46.7 DraftKings points per game but has scored 50+ DraftKings points in five if his last six games played.

Over his last 29 maps, he has had a 1.17 K/D ratio while having a .68 kill per round rate and only a .58 death per rate. While the matchup against FaZe is tough, Spirit looks dialed in which makes this an intriguing play if he comes in as a lower owned option.

Koosta is only $7,000 which is really low for someone who is averaging 58 DraftKings points per game. Over the last three months, Koosta has had a 1.08 K/D ratio and is one of the more consistent reliable players on Gen. G.

Koosta has played against 100 Thieves twice and accrued a 1.36 K/D ratio against them which is very encouraging given his price point on this slate. He stands out as a tournament play based on his price and his matchup.

Other value plays: BnTeT, magixx, JW, s0m

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

Fnatic looks to be the largest favorite on the slate and their pricing looks pretty reasonable which draws me to like them even more. Both teams come into this match in relatively poor form, so this could just come down to who has the best players which I believe Fnatic has.

Both teams have a .95 team K/D ratio over the last month as they have both faced top tier teams. Brollan and flusha have been the two most consistent recently for Fnatic as they have above 1 K/D ratios over the last month.

KRIMZ is cheap and if he returns to the form that we are used to, he could do really well for his price point. JW is the one to target if looking for a value play from this team and he is only $6,800.

Gen. G is extremely cheap overall and they provide really good salary relief if trying to pay up for another stack. They’re winners of four of their last five games and beat 100 Thieves 2-0 last month.

Gen. G has gone 25-19 over the last 44 maps played and accumulated a team K/D ratio of 1.03 during that timespan. 100 Thieves has gone 18-19 during the same time and racked up a team K/D ratio of 1.03 so the teams match up pretty evenly with a slight edge going to Gen. G due to the above .500 record.

Autimatic has been their best player as he has produced a 1.16 K/D ratio during that stretch. Koosta and BnTeT both carry an above 1 K/D ratio and deserve consideration in any Gen. G stack for this slate.

Other stacks/teams: Spirit (Price play)
