ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has had an up-and-down 2024 season. The former first-overall NFL Draft pick got benched after the first two weeks. However, he has played well since returning to the starting lineup.
The former Alabama star has averaged 1.3 passing touchdowns and 18.1 fantasy points per game since the team’s Week 11 bye, scoring 16.5 or more in 66.7% of the contests, including back-to-back outings. Last week, Young had two passing touchdowns and 16.9 fantasy points in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy players should add the second-year quarterback off the waiver wire and consider starting him in Week 18. Several star quarterbacks won’t play or only see limited snaps in meaningless games.
However, Young has an appealing matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. They gave up over 31 fantasy points to Jayden Daniels last week. Furthermore, the Falcons have given up over 30 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in two of their past four matchups.
