ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks was once a must-start option for fantasy players. Unfortunately, the veteran wide receiver has had little fantasy football value in 2024. He is the WR101 for the year, averaging 5.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Furthermore, Cooks missed seven games because of a knee injury. The veteran has had some solid moments this season, scoring three touchdowns, including two since returning to the lineup. However, he hasn’t scored more than 9.1 fantasy points in a game since Week 1.
Yet, Cooks could have some appeal as a flex option in deeper leagues over the final two weeks of the regular season. The Cowboys announced that CeeDee Lamb is done for the year with a shoulder injury, making the veteran the team’s new No. 1 wide receiver. Cooks has a favorable matchup in Week 18 against the Washington Commanders.
