BALLER MOVE: Add in NL-only Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 19% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Blaze Alexander has broken out with authority in his big-league debut following a lengthy history of excellent production since making his professional debut in the 2018 campaign.
Through his first 56 MLB plate appearances, Alexander is hitting .333 with three homers, 13 RBI, a stolen base, and a big-time .981 OPS across 17 games played. At the same time, prospective fantasy managers would be wise to brace for regression moving forward.

For starters, Alexander's .412 BABIP will plummet, especially with a hard-hit rate that sits in only the 44th percentile, as per Statcast. Additionally, his .307 xwOBA is miles below his .427 wOBA on the young season. In other words, his current numbers are quite bloated compared to what he has deserved to earn in a small sample this season.
Given his hot stretch, he is worth a flyer in NL-only leagues. However, fantasy managers would be wise to keep an eye out for regression as the 24-year-old has enjoyed some positive fortune to begin his big-league career.
