ANALYSIS: Barreling toward their third 100-loss season in four years, the Orioles are a franchise in dire need of bright spots. In the shortened 2020 campaign, Anthony Santander looked like he could be one; his .890 OPS was a reason why Baltimore was on a slightly less embarassing 94-loss pace.
The sequel hasn't been great overall, but Santander has been swinging a hot bat lately. In the last two weeks, he's hitting .372 with four homers, a stolen base, and 13 R+BI. As such, there's been a rush to grab him and his rostered rate has more than doubled in the last couple of days. He remains available in a slightly majority of leagues, though, and if yours is one of them, you ought to consider changing that.
