DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/10/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on January 10, 2022. Alex Burns provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

A new week is officially upon us! Unlike season-long fantasy basketball, there is no scouring of waiver wires in hopes of securing this week's top player. Instead, we simply get to set a lineup, sit back, relax, and enjoy a seven-game slate of NBA hoops.

The only thing better than NBA DFS is winning money and that's exactly what we're going to do here. With 14 teams taking the floor on Monday, there will be lots of options to choose from. Continue reading to see which players I am targeting on Monday!

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 1/10/22. Remember to monitor NBA injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. Let's cut right to the chase and dive into my favorite DraftKings and FanDuel plays for Monday's seven-game slate.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Dejounte Murray - PG/SG, SAS @ NYK (9,700 DK, $10,400 FD)

Despite being priced $700 cheaper on DraftKings, Murray remains a must-play on both sites. Simply put, he's been a walking bucket without Derrick White in the lineup and the latter will remain out on Monday. He's seeing a staggering 36.5% usage rate with White out of the lineup and he'll be plenty busy against the Knicks, who have been middle of the pack defending opposing guards from a fantasy perspective this season. Murray is a triple-double waiting to happen and is a perfect building block for your fantasy lineup on Monday as he looks to rack up at least 52 fantasy points for the fourth straight game.

LaMelo Ball - PG, CHA vs. MIL ($9,300 DK; $8,400 FD)

While Dejounte Murray is the affordable guard on DraftKings, Ball is the most appealing on FanDuel. Both the Hornets and the Bucks rank inside the top-15 in PACE rating this season and Charlotte will likely be playing from behind. Ball also gets a boost with All-NBA defense-caliber guard Jrue Holiday will not be active for this one. After a quiet two-game stretch, Ball has posted at least 41 fantasy points in back-to-back games and will need to do it all for Charlotte if they want to take down the defending champs.

Seth Curry - SG, PHI @ HOU ($6,600 DK, $6,700 FD)

Curry has been solid this season, but he has taken his play to another level in six games without Tyrese Maxey in the lineup. He's averaging just under 20 points and 6.2 assists in 38 minutes, en route to 35 DK and 34 FD points per game. Maxey has been ruled out for Monday's game and Curry should play a big role. The matchup is great too, as the Rockets have given up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing guards this season. He'll look to make it three straight games of 40 or more fantasy points.

GPP PG:

Lonnie Walker IV - SG, SAS @ NYK ($4,200 DK, $4,400 FD)

While the masses will likely attack Anfernee Simons with Damian Lillard out of the lineup, what if I told you that the same production could be available for more than $2,000 less. Walker just posted 25 points and 40 fantasy points in Sunday's loss to the Nets. He saw 33 minutes of playing time in the start and should play a similar role on Monday on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Pairing Walker and Dejounte Murray just makes sense in this one. Don't miss out on this incredible value!

Others to consider: Alec Burks ($5,600 DK, $5,800 FD), Quentin Grimes ($3,400 DK, $3,800 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF/C, MIL @ CHA ($12,000 DK, $11,500 FD)

I get it, Giannis is pricey. But it's simply impossible to fade him as of late. He's always a great fantasy option regardless of the matchup, but he's been even more incredible with Jrue Holiday out of the lineup this season. In eight games without Holiday, the Greek Freak is putting up 30 points, 10.4 rebounds, six assists, and 55 DK and 53 FD points per game. Not to mention the Hornets have simply bled fantasy points to power forwards this season, giving up the most FD points and the second-most DK points. Paying up for Giannis absolutely makes sense given the matchup and scenario.

Kelly Oubre - SF, CHA vs. MIL ($5,700 DK, $5,700 FD)

There should be a ton of points put up in this one and Oubre is averaging 25 points over his last two games. The masses will likely turn to Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward for the offense but Oubre is priced lower than both. The matchup is great and the Hornets will need him if they want to have a shot at the Bucks.

Furkan Korkmaz - SF, PHI @ HOU ($4,900 DK, $5,300 FD)

This is a sneaky play, but just like Seth Curry, Korkmaz has been a value with Tyrese Maxey out of the lineup this season. He's averaging more than 36 minutes of playing time over his last three games and has posted at least 20 points in two of those games. The Rockets have given up the second-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards this season and Korkmaz will likely have low ownership, making him a fantastic contrarian play.

Others to consider: Jae'Sean Tate ($5,200 DK, $5,900 FD), Kris Middleton ($8,400 DK, $8,300 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Hassan Whiteside - C, UTA @ DET ($5,200 DK, $5,300 FD)

Whiteside is easily the biggest free space on Monday's slate. With Rudy Gobert in Covid protocols, Whitside should see a tremendous increase in value operating as the Jazz' starting center. He's seen just under 28 minutes per game in Gobert's two absences this season and is averaging just under three blocks Per 36 minutes this season. He doesn't need a high usage rate to produce, though he should see plenty of lobs and grab many rebounds against the lowly Pistons.

Jusuf Nurkic - C, POR vs. BKN (7,000 DK, $7,400 FD)

Portland has had its lineup in flux for much of the season, but with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum out, they've had no choice but to lean heavily on their big man. Nurkic has been a reliable fantasy option this season but has been taken his game to the next level since returning to the lineup. He's double-doubled in each of his last four games and has a great matchup against the Nets on deck.

Others to consider: Nicolas Claxton ($5,000 DK, $5,500 FD), Jakob Poeltl ($6,100 DK, $6,100 FD)
