ANALYSIS: The Blue Jays have roared back from the edge of oblivion in recent weeks, putting themselves in the driver's seat for a wild card spot thanks in large part due to a collective surge from their bats. You obviously won't be able to grab the likes of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Marcus Semien from your league's waiver wire, but Alejandro Kirk remains widely available if you want a piece of this high-octane lineup.
Despite questions about his defense, the 23-year-old rookie has always been well-regarded due to his hitting ability. He owns a .264/.343/.490 overall line with eight home runs and 43 R+BI in 52 games, and five of those bombs have come in the past three weeks. While he's generally been stuck in the bottom half of the order, Kirk has enough thump in his bat to make a difference down the stretch and is free to add in three-quarters of Yahoo leagues at the moment.
