The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Single Stat and Fantasy Score MLBP and MLB Totals
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. over .5 Runs + RBI - The Blue Jays right-handed bats have a solid matchup tonight vs. Nick Pivetta. Pivetta has allowed nine home runs and a 5.26 ERA to right-handers this season. He also just faced these Blue Jays and allowed four earned runs on 11 hits across 6 2/3 innings pitched. Gurriel is 2-for-6 off Pivetta in his career and is also 7-for-22 with a home run, three runs scored, and five RBI over his last seven games.
Bo Bichette over 1.5 Hits + Walks - I do not usually do these props, but Bichette is in a good spot to hit this prop after showing patience the previous three games with a walk in each one of them. He just saw Nick Pivetta on July 19th and managed to go 2-for-4 with an RBI in that game. For his career, Bichette is 6-for-9 off Pivetta. Pivetta has also struggled against right-handers this season as noted above. Bichette has hit this total in six of his previous 13 games and both of his last two. Look for him to continue the streak tonight.
Akil Baddoo over .5 Runs + RBI - Baddoo has been on a tear lately as he is 9-for-33 with a combined 18 runs + RBI over his previous eight games. He will be facing Michael Pineda who has allowed seven home runs and a .256 BAA to lefties across 31 innings pitched. Baddoo will also be leading off in this game, which adds immense value to his prop being set at .5.
Jose Abreu over 8.0 Fantasy Points - Abreu will be facing Mike Minor who has allowed 16 home runs to right-handers thus far in 2021. Abreu has three home runs and 14 combined runs + RBI over his last 10 games. He has also hit left-handers to the tune of a .909 OPS with eight home runs, four doubles, and 22 RBI this season.
