Buccaneers running back (RB) Ke'Shawn Vaughn is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED: 6% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn saw his first NFL action in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers and came away with his first career touchdown in the game.
Vaughn caught a key nine-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady in the fourth quarter of the game, a touchdown that wound up being the difference in the team's 38-31 win. Vaughn's stat line apart from the touchdown wasn't anything particularly notable as he finished his day with three carries for four yards and two receptions for 22 yards.
Leonard Fournette (ankle) was sidelined for Week 4 with an ankle injury and the team leaned heavily on Ronald Jones in the game as Jones saw 20 carries and nine targets in the passing game. Jones and Fournette have both been rather effective this year, so Vaughn is the clear No. 3 back on the team when everyone is healthy.
Vaughn is worth considering as a speculative add in PPR leagues of 14 teams or deeper. If Fournette remains out, Vaughn could see his role increase and there's also a chance that Vaughn could carve out a steady role in the passing game as both Jones and Fournette have some shortcomings in the pass-catching department.
