NFL DFS Prop Picks for Week 2 - Monkey Knife Fight

Kipp Heisterman presents his expert NFL DFS prop picks for Week 2 of the Fantasy Football season. Use these prop picks to win money on Monkey Knife Fight, our partner for all DFS prop picks games.

Welcome to Week 2 of the NFL Season! We have finally reached the beginning of the NFL season and that means our friends at Monkey Knife Fight are offering some of the coolest, and easiest to win, NFL DFS games in the industry.

Our friends at Monkey Knife Fight offer some of the coolest, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no massive tournaments where you have to get ridiculously lucky just to cash because, at MKF, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the house, and the dudes at MKF have fallen all over themselves to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a $50 deposit bonus.

As always, there are some solid props we can look to take advantage of in a couple of these games including the Falcons at Cowboys, Vikings at Colts, and Ravens at Texans.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Falcons @ Cowboys More or Less Contest

Recommended Prop Pick:

Matt Ryan more than 304.5 yards and Dak Prescott less than 299.5

This game has the second-highest total on the board at 52, which comes in just below the Ravens at Texans total of 52.5. Matt Ryan and the Falcons were behind for a majority of the game last week vs. Seattle and Ryan managed to throw for 450 yards. The same is likely going to hold true here as the Cowboys are currently 5.5 point home favorites. It is also likely that the Falcons will find it difficult to run the ball vs. this Cowboys Defense as they Cowboys only gave up 3.5ypc vs. the Rams in Week 1. While the Rams did stick with the run and accounted for 124 rushing yards, it is unlikely the Falcons will show the same patience, especially if trailing.

Dak is more than capable of eclipsing this total vs. a Falcons Defense that allowed 322 passing yards to Russell Wilson in Week 1, but I do not think Dak will be forced to throw all that much. As noted above, the Cowboys are favored in this game by 5.5 points and will likely be able to pound the ball with Zeke a much they would like. While the Falcons looked pretty solid vs. the run last week, they were not tested much as Seattle opted to move the ball through the air and unleash Russell Wilson. The Cowboys will be more likely to feed Zeke and attack a defense that allowed 4.2ypc in 2019.

Vikings @ Colts More or Less Contest

Recommended Prop Pick:

Philip Rivers more than 266.5 passing yards and Kirk Cousins more than 252.5

This game has the potential to turn into a shootout as do a number of games Philip River is involved in. The current total sits at 47.5 and we could certainly see this rise leading up to kickoff. The Vikings have a horrid pass defense, which may lead the Colts to come into the game looking to throw early and often. Last week, Aaron Rodgers torched this secondary for 364 passing yards and Rivers could do the same. Rivers also managed to throw for 363 passing yards in Week 1 at Jacksonville. The Colts also lost Marlon Mack for the season, so they could also look to throw more for this reason while easing rookie Johnathan Taylor into the mix.

Kirk Cousins is a bit of a tougher call, but considering how bad the Vikings pass defense has been, I think Cousins will be forced to throw in order to keep up in this game. The Vikings are also three-point dogs, so this narrative seems to be what Vegas believes as well. The Colts allowed quarterbacks to throw for 252 passing yards per game in 2019, which ranked them ninth-worst in the league. They also ranked eighth-best in terms of total rushing yards allowed to running backs in 2019, which means Dalvin Cook could have a hard time getting going.

Ravens @ Texans More or Less Contest

Recommended Prop Pick:

Deshaun Watson more than 254.5 passing yards and Lamar Jackson less than 235.5 passing yards

The Ravens currently sit at 6.5 point favorites as of this writing. This likely means the Texans will be forced to throw the ball quite a bit, which could work out well for Watson and this total. Watson threw for 253 yards last week vs. Kansas City in a game where it looked like they were trying to force the ball to newly acquired running back, David Johnson. This week, they could be down even more early and not have the option to continue to force the ball to Johnson. That being said, you can never really trust what Bill O'Brien is going to do, so that certainly makes this prop a bit risky, but I still like the more than.

Baltimore should be able to run the ball at will with the likes of Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram II, and J.K. Dobbins. This is the best rushing team in the NFL and will be facing a run defense that allowed 163 rushing yards a week ago to the Chiefs. The Ravens will likely be up in this game as the spread suggests, which means Jackson should not be forced to throw the ball more than required. He also only went over this total six times in 2019 and also threw for just 222 yards in his last matchup vs. the Texans, which came in 2019.
