Nate Pearson Bit By The Long Ball Tuesday
Nate Pearson was touched up for five earned runs over four innings in the team’s 8-7 win over the Orioles. The right-hander served up a trio of homers while striking out three and walking three in the no-decision. After a dominant major-league debut, Pearson has now put together three consecutive underwhelming outings, which has seen his ERA reach an ugly 6.61. There will undoubtedly be better days ahead for the team’s top prospect, so owners should remain patient with the youngster. Pearson will look to right the ship in his next start versus the Rays.
