Mitch Haniger's Status Uncertain For Spring Training 2.0
Mitch Haniger's (back, groin) status for spring training 2.0 in early July. Because Haniger has had two core surgeries and a back operation since last June, his readiness for Opening Day in late July should also be in question. The 29-year-old hit .285 with 26 home runs, 90-plus runs and 90-plus RBI in 2018, but he hit just .220 in an injury plagued season in 2019 and may not be back to 100 percent for a while. There's a chance that the slugger could bounce back with better health, but most fantasy owners won't be willing to take that chance in a 60-game season.
