After an exciting Opening Day we're back for another day of DFS! We've got one slate on FanDuel that starts at 7:07pm eastern and covers all eight games.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/29/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Joey Lucchesi - P, vs SF ($7,600)
Lucchesi is coming off of an impressive rookie season where he posted a strong 26.1% K-rate with a 3.71 Deserved Run Average. He gets to face one of the weakest lineups in the league in the Giants, who had a measly .285 wOBA versus left-handed pitching, which was the second-worst in the league. San Francisco's lineup looks even worse this year, as they're trotting out guys like Connor Joe and Michael Reed. Lucchesi is also at home on Friday in Petco Park, one of the best pitching environments in all of baseball. He should thrive in this matchup.
Matt Shoemaker - P, vs DET ($7,000)
Shoemaker is another low-priced starter to target on Friday, coming in as the fourth cheapest SP. He gets what might an even easier opponent in the Tigers, who are knee-deep in their rebuild phase. Shoemaker has shown promise when he's been able to stay on the mound, and his 3.35 FIP in 2018 suggests that he was much better than his 4.94 ERA. The Cobbler had a 25.4% K-rate in his seven starts last year, giving him lots of upside at this price.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Albert Pujols - 1B, at OAK ($2,700)
Despite a declining skillset, Pujols is still in a great spot for some RBI batting fifth in the Angels lineup. He gets to face the weakest starter on Friday's slate in Marco Estrada, who had an abysmal 5.64 ERA in 2018 with a 1.82 HR/9. The Angels lineup should have a big day, and Pujols is an extremely cheap way to get a piece of that production. An Angels stack around Pujols is a smart idea.
Mike Moustakas - 2B, vs STL ($3,400)
Moustakas went deep on Opening Day, showcasing the power that got him to 39 homers just two years ago. His bomb was no surprise, considering Miller Park is one of the best hitter's parks in baseball. While Moustakas has a tough matchup in Jack Flaherty, his power potential is worth chasing. Moose is a good play in GPP contests, as he is a contrarian play who should come at a low ownership because of his matchup.
Matt Chapman - 3B, vs LAA ($4,000)
Chapman is in a fantastic spot batting second for the Athletics, where he can rack up runs and RBI against Matt Harvey. Harvey is a pitcher you want to target, coming off of a disastrous season with a 4.94 ERA. Chapman put up an elite 142 wRC+ against right-handed pitching in 2018, giving him a very high floor that is particularly attractive in cash games.
Paul DeJong - SS, at MIL ($3,300)
DeJong is way too cheap for a guy batting third in the Cardinals order, hitting behind Matt Carpenter and Paul Goldschmidt. He's going to bathe in RBI opportunities and has a good shot at homering in Miller Park. At this price, he can be considered in all contests against Freddy Peralta, who has a high risk of imploding in his first outing of the year.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Randal Grichuk - OF, vs DET ($3,000)
Grichuk is in a valuable position batting second for the Blue Jays, as he will get plenty of plate appearances. More trips to the plate means more chances to produce! Tigers starter Matt Boyd had a weak 4.45 FIP last season, and Grichuk is in a hitter-friendly park in Toronto at a super low price.
Wil Myers - OF, vs SF ($3,200)
The Padres suddenly have a pretty exciting lineup, so Myers should produce well out of their two-hole. Myers hit lefties significantly better than righties last year, with a 118 wRC+, so southpaw Derek Holland is an ideal matchup for him.
