The San Diego Padres have purchased the contract of prospect outfielder Franmil Reyes from Triple-A El Paso. Reyes leads the Pacific Coast League in homers (14), RBI (38) and OPS (1.180) and offers a powerful bat to the Padres scuffling offense. The 22-year-old Reyes has cracked 55 home runs in 301 games in the minor leagues since 2016, but was outside of the Padres top-30 prospects going into the season. Fantasy managers should view Reyes as a speculative power add but his playing time is uncertain and he'll likely experience some speedbumps on the way. The Padres have not announced the corresponding roster move but could designate one of their surplus outfielders (Manuel Margot, Matt Szczur) or relievers for assignment.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
