DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider

Rafael Montero vs. PHI (DK - $6,900, FD - $6,600)

Mets starter Rafael Montero has a fantastic opportunity on Sunday against an awful Phillies lineup. Montero's 5.23 ERA may look ugly, but his last time out against the Giants went well, when he struck out seven in 5 1/3 innings, allowing just one earned run. The Phillies lineup is similarly bad, as Philadelphia has just a .298 wOBA against righties, which is 29th in the league, almost dead last. Montero can put up some killer strikeout numbers as well, as he has a 22.6% K-rate this season. For such a low price, he's tough to pass up.

James Paxton @ LAA (DK - $8,700, FD - $8,900)

If you're looking for a higher-end pitcher on Sunday, consider James Paxton. His price has actually dipped from where it was earlier in the season, which is great news for us, as he still possesses the same elite talent. For the season, Paxton has a stellar 2.87 FIP with a 27.5% K-rate. He faces the Angels, who are one of the worst lineups in the league against left-handed pitching. They have a .293 wOBA versus southpaws this year. This is the type of lineup that Paxton can completely carve up.

DFS Infielders to Consider

Catcher (C)

Wilson Ramos @ BAL (DK - $3,200, FD - $2,300)

Rays catcher Wilson Ramos is quickly regaining his 2016 form, hitting a homer in his second straight game on Saturday. In case you've forgotten, Ramos had an incredible season last year, posting a 124 wRC+. He's still super cheap since he's fresh off the DL, but Ramos looks like he's already hit his stride at the plate. He can easily do some damage in Baltimore, a great hitter's park, against Kevin Gausman, who has a 6.07 ERA.

First Base (1B)

Justin Bour @ MIL (DK - $3,800, FD - $2,900)

If you look at his numbers for the season, it's insane to think that Justin Bour is coming in at these prices. The Marlins first baseman has a 135 wRC+ with 18 homers in 61 games. He gets an incredibly favorable matchup at Miller Park on Sunday, an outstanding ballpark for power numbers. Bour's opposing pitcher, Junior Guerra, gave up eight earned runs in his last start, so don't be surprised if Bour goes deep off of him.

Second Base (2B)

Jonathan Schoop vs. TB (DK - $3,800, FD - $3,300)

By now you would expect Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop to be at a top-tier price, but he's still coming in far below that. It's the perfect time to take advantage of that while he's at home in Baltimore. Schoop has a .977 OPS in the last 15 days, and has eight homers in the last month. He just keeps on hitting, and has a chance for lots of runs and RBIs out of the third spot in the lineup.

Shortstop (SS)

Addison Russell @ CIN (DK - $3,500, FD - $2,700)

Cubs shortstop Addison Russell gets a wonderful matchup on Sunday in Cincinnati against Tim Adelman. Cinci is one of the best places to hit in all of baseball, and Russell can take advantage against that against Adelman, who has a 4.62 ERA. Russell has an .846 OPS in the last 15 days, and yet is still very cheap.

Third Base (3B)

Kyle Seager @ LAA (DK - $4,500, FD - $2,700)

For whatever reason, Kyle Seager is insanely cheap on FanDuel. He's also worthwhile play if you're willing to pay up on DraftKings. Seager faces Jesse Chavez, who has a 5.04 ERA, so he and the Mariners lineup should put up some crooked numbers. Seager has an .851 OPS in the last 15 days and has no business being $2,700, so get him while you can.

DFS Outfielders to Consider

Matt Joyce vs. ATL (DK - $3,900, FD - $3,000)

Matt Joyce crushes right-handed pitching, so consider him on Sunday against Julio Teheran. Teheran has a 5.30 ERA, while Joyce is rocking a 1.025 OPS in the last 15 days. If these trends continue, Joyce will have himself a day out of the Athletics two-hole.

Raimel Tapia @ ARI (DK - $3,200, FD - $2,400)

While he's not at Coors Field, Raimel Tapia is at the closest thing to it on Sunday in Arizona. The Diamondbacks ballpark provides a potent offensive environment for the Rockies two hitter, where Tapia can get lots of at-bats and score some runs. Tapia has a .926 OPS in the last month and yet is still nearing punt-price levels, so get him into your lineups.

Hunter Pence @ PIT (DK - $3,700, FD - $3,200)

Hunter Pence has been straight up destroying the ball in the last 15 days, batting .388 with a .975 OPS. Trevor Williams, who Pence is facing, has a 4.82 ERA, so Pence should have no trouble dealing with him and keeping the hot streak alive. Pence has lots of value as the Giants third spot hitter, and should be looked at in many different contests.
