Fantasy Basketball Top 50 Player Rankings (Week 11)

Rank Previous Rank Name Team Pos Notes
1 Kevin Durant GSW SF/PF Durant's consistency and durability keep him atop the ranks. For those worrying about late season rest, Curry played every game down the stretch last season despite finishing ahead of the 2nd place Spurs by six games.
6 Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL PG/SG/SF Scary that he's putting up these kind of numbers at just 22 years old. The late season return of Khris Middleton is something to look out for, but wouldn't worry too much about it. This kid is a stud for years to come.
3 Anthony Davis NOR PF/C AD hasn't had an injury concerns over the past couple weeks, which has surely been calming for his owners.
7 Kawhi Leonard SAS SG/SF His FG% is actually a couple notches lower than his career levels, and it's been trending up lately.
2 Stephen Curry GSW PG/SG Perhaps last season's 50.4% field goal shooting was an anomaly, and he's closer to his career 47.6%. He's still a top five player, but he won't be far and away the most valuable player in fantasy without the high volume elite shooting from last year.
4 James Harden HOU PG/SG/SF In H2H formats, it's hard to argue against Harden being the #1 player in fantasy. But in Roto, his detriment in turnovers is just as bad as Andre Drummond or DeAndre Jordan's FT shooting.
5 Chris Paul LAC PG Chris Paul has the injury bug as of late, but it doesn't seem too serious.
10 Jimmy Butler CHI SG/SF Butler's super efficient 52 point game might be the best in fantasy this season. Let's just hope he stays healthy for more than 67 games this season, which he's only done once in his five year career.
14 DeMarcus Cousins SAC PF/C The counting stats are top notch, and he's even shooting well from the line this year. The turnovers are down and 3's are up, making him a top 10 player.
8 Draymond Green GSW SF/PF Draymond has been fairly inefficient this year, which is actually closer to his career levels. Without the positive FG shooting from last season, he's not a top 10 player.
11 Damian Lillard POR PG Should return soon and hasn't stopped putting up great numbers.
18 John Wall WAS PG Wall has taken strides as a shooter this year, and the steals are up as well which has been even more of a boost to his value.
19 Kyle Lowry TOR PG Lowry's hot shooting continued throughout December, and he's now top 10 on the season. The 44.4% shooting from deep is likely unsustainable, so he's closer to top 15 than top 10.
12 Kemba Walker CHA PG After slumping a bit through December, he's started the new year off right.
9 LeBron James CLE SF/PF The FT% still hasn't normalized, and he's being rested every so often. Hard to believe he suddenly forgot how to shoot free throws, but the rest days may occur more frequently down the stretch. Now would be a good time to sell.
13 Russell Westbrook OKC PG Amazing that averaging 31/10.51/10.5 doesn't automatically make you a top 5 player. Currently struggling to maintain top 20 status.
15 Paul George IND SF/PF Shooting really well this season, a couple points above career levels. Not a terrible idea to sell, but he's still a top 20 player.
16 Al Horford BOS PF/C An elite center, but the additional three point attempts have expectedly hurt his FG%. He's still as safe as they come.
26 Isaiah Thomas BOS PG IT's phenomenal play since returning from a groin injury has vaulted him into the top 15 on the season. Not a bad idea to sell high, but it looks like he's a legit top 20 player now with the increased volume.
20 Kevin Love CLE PF/C The Cavs are utilizing him more this season, and it's allowed him to reach top 15 value like he did back in Minnesota. Rest days down the stretch are likely, however.
21 Karl-Anthony Towns MIN C The potential for Towns to be a top 5 player are obvious, but the added three pointers haven't been enough to offset the drop in FG% from last year to keep him in the top 20. Still, he's good enough to figure it out at any moment.
23 Myles Turner IND PF/C Any player who gives over two blocks with elite percentages is going to be a very valuable player.
29 Kyrie Irving CLE PG/SG Kyrie's theft skills returned with a vengeance in the second half of December, averaging almost 3.5 per game. Hopefully they're back for good, though the injury concerns are real.
24 CJ McCollum POR PG/SG McCollum has really taken his game to the next level this year. His stardom has peaked through the past few games with Lillard sitting.
33 Otto Porter WAS SF One of the best breakouts this year, Otto Porter is still holding onto top 20 value on the season.
17 Kristaps Porzingis NYK PF/C Hoping the achilles injury will be an afterthought in a couple weeks, but hard not to worry about the Knicks resting him often down the stretch if they fall out of the playoff race.
22 Hassan Whiteside MIA C It doesn't look like the days of averaging close to four blocks are returning this season, and the poor free throw shooting continues.
25 Paul Millsap ATL PF/C Other than a drop in FG%, his numbers look very similar to the top 15 value he produced the last couple years. Unfortunately, Dwight Howard is here to stay, so the FG% likely is as well.
27 Marc Gasol MEM C Gasol has not let up, and the rest days have been minimal. He's not a sell high candidate.
31 Trevor Ariza HOU SG/SF The value he gives is steals and three's is matched by none.
34 Gordon Hayward UTA SG/SF Still waiting on the full return of the starting lineup, but Hayward's value is undoubted at this point.
38 Klay Thompson GSW SG/SF Owners have to be happy with how he's turned his season around after a slow start. His numbers are nearly identical to last season's.
32 Rudy Gobert UTA C He's had some pretty awful free throw shooting games lately, but has also had double digit rebounds and at least one block in all but one of his last 21 games. The DeAndre Jordan-like FG% doesn't hurt either.
N/A Mike Conley MEM PG Conley's hopefully back for good now, and he'll look to finish the year strong as a top option at point guard.
40 Serge Ibaka ORL PF/C The days of "Iblocka" are over, but he's still holding onto top 35 value with the three-ball and elite shooting percentages.
46 Nikola Jokic DEN PF/C Mike Malone has accepted Jokic's true potential, and has been willing to play him upwards of 30 mpg. Since the beginning of December, he's been a top 20 player. The only thing holding him back now is himself, as the fouls have been fairly abundant.
28 DeMar DeRozan TOR SG/SF Almost the same numbers as McCollum, minus the three pointers, which is pretty significant.
37 Brook Lopez BKN C Not too worried about being shut down, as Brooklyn doesn't own their own pick.
39 Eric Bledsoe PHO PG/SG Bledsoe doesn't look like he'll ever be a top 30 player at this point in his career, but he's a pretty consistent across the board contributor and a good bet to finish in the top 50.
35 Carmelo Anthony NYK SF/PF Melo's shooting slump continues, but he's still holding onto top 50 value on the season. He's been one of the purest shooters in the game over his 14 year career, so unless he has an undisclosed injury, he's bound to break out of it.
45 LaMarcus Aldridge SAS PF/C Aldridge has rebounded from a slump in a big way. The only worry now is Pop resting him down the stretch.
41 Avery Bradley BOS PG/SG Bradley is a poor-man's McCollum. Perhaps we see another mini leap next year, but this seems like his peak.
36 Rudy Gay SAC SF/PF Gay has endured an injured hip, missing 9 of the past 10 games. If an owner is frustrated or worried about a trade hurting his value, now might be a good time to buy low.
47 Zach LaVine MIN PG/SG LaVine is getting heavy minutes and making the most of them. He's taking a lot more 3's this year which is a huge boost to his value.
42 Jeff Teague IND PG Teague continues to be a well-rounded, safe point guard. Nothing new here.
43 Jae Crowder BOS SF/PF Crowder's steals are down from last season's but he's still holding onto top 50 value due to a boost in FG% and three pointers. If the steals ever return we're looking at numbers not far off from Kawhi Leonard's.
Next 5 Nicolas Batum CHA SG/SF Batum had a monster finish to the year, and the FG% is on the rise. The buy-low window has officially closed.
48 Victor Oladipo OKC PG/SG Dipo is hopefully completely back from the wrist injury that sidelined him for nine games, and he's looked pretty good. The upside is enormous, so he still should be valued as a top 50 player for a little while longer.
50 Jrue Holiday NOR PG Another player who's FT% has far off from his career norm. He's a Mike Conley-lite, which is still pretty darn good.
N/A Jabari Parker MIL SF/PF Jabari has been on fire over the past month, contributing in every category in addition to elite scoring and field goal shooting. His added three pointer has been a huge boost to his fantasy value, and the only worry now is how Khris Middleton possibly returning for the fantasy playoffs affects him. For that reason, he's a decent sell-high candidate right now.

Next Five:

Bradley Beal, Tobias Harris, Gorgui Dieng, Nikola Vucevic, Danilo Gallinari
