DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (6/15/16): MLB DFS Advice

There's a decent slate of games tonight as there are only 4 early games and 10 late games. There are a handful of good pitching options with a few good expensive ones and a few solid cheap options as well. That said there are a ton of good hitting options available for the late slate and I'm going to suggest a few.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/15/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will likely out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Here we go!

Editor's Note: RotoBaller offers the best Premium MLB Subscription - only $1.99 per week. DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

St. Louis Cardinals - The Cardinals are the second highest scoring offense in baseball with 350 runs scored and they have the fifth most HR with 85 despite the fact that they don't have a DH. On Wednesday night they will face Colin McHugh who has been pedestrian this season and who struggles against LHH in general and with giving up HR. This leads me to target all of the LHH on St. Louis in a stack that can be used in all leagues.

Seattle Mariners - The Mariners absolutely destroy LHP, and they happen to face LHP Drew Smyly and the Rays at Tropicana Field on Wednesday night. While it's not the best venue to hit it at least has a roof and is thus rain out proof. While the M's hit more HR than anyone in the league they also lead the league in runs and HR against LHP by a sizable margin. For these reasons I love a Mariners stack that includes Cruz, Guttierez and Chris Iannetta. This stack can be used in all leagues.

Cincinnati Reds - The Reds face the woeful Braves and Bud Norris on Wednesday night in Atlanta at Turner Field. This is especially good for their SP and for the majority of their hitters; but especially their LHH. For this reason I love stacking Votto, and Bruce with DeSclafani and even the RH Adam Duvell who happens to be red hot. This stack can be used in all leagues.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Corey Kluber has been very good this season as evidenced by his 8.89 K/9 and 2.89 FIP. He'll face off with Ian Kennedy and the Royals at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday where he'll be the solid favorite. Just 10 days ago Kluber faced the Royals and posted 27.1 points at DraftKings and I expect more of the same in this matchup.

Marco Estrada should be a sizable favorite against Jeremy Hellickson and the Phillies at Great American Ballpark on Wednesday evening. It also helps that the Phillies offense is tied for 8th in K% as they strikeout in 22.7% of their at bats and that they have the second fewest runs scored in the league. Estrada has pitched well this season as he has averaged 20.4 FPPG and is moderately priced.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Chris Iannetta - Iannetta is coming in red hot as he's mashed 5 hits including a double and 2 HR in his past 4 games while hitting .417 and slugging 1.000. On Wednesday he'll face LHP Drew Smyly and this season Iannetta has posted an impressive .317/.446/.467 slash line against southpaws. He's expensive, but worth paying up for on Wednesday night.

First Base (1B)

Matt Adams - Adams has done a ton of damage against RHP this season as he's mashed 10/11 doubles and 8/9 HR against northpaws while slashing a solid .310/.376/.566 this season. On Wednesday he'll face RHP Colin McHugh who has struggled against LHH this season. Also worth noting is that Adams is fairly cheap and a rather solid value play.

Second Base (2B)

Jason Kipnis - Kipnis has been on a tear of late as he's posted 7 hits including a double and a HR in his past 5 games. On Wednesday night Kipnis and company will face RHP Ian Kennedy and the Royals at hitter friendly Kauffman Stadium. This bodes well for Jason as he's slashed a mean .283/.346/.482 against RHP this season and all 3 of his SB and 17 of his 21 extra base hits have all come against RHP. Moderately priced on Wednesday night I really like Kipnis in all my lineups.

Shortstop (SS)

Tim AndersonAnderson was recently called up for the White Sox. He's a high prospect, but his price tag doesn't represent that. He hit over .300 in the minors this season with decent power and good speed. At the minimum on DraftKings it's hard for me not to punt SS and give Anderson's speed a try on Wednesday night.

Third Base (3B)

Danny Valencia - Valencia has been red hot as he's notched 11 hits including 3 doubles and 2 HR over his past 8 games. This season against LHP Danny has creamed 'em with a .419/.468/.837 slash line to go with 3 doubles and 5 HR in just 47 plate appearances. On Wednesday night Valencia and the A's will face LHP Derek Holland at home in Oakland. Moderately priced I absolutely love getting Valencia into all of my lineups.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Nelson Cruz - Cruz and the Mariners will face a lefty on Wednesday (as noted above) and that's a good thing for Nelson and his owners in the fake game as he's slugged .618 with 4 doubles and 7 HR across just 86 plate appearances. Even better for Cruz & Co is that he's slugged .612 and mashed 5 HR in his past twelve games. He's expensive, but worth paying up for on Wednesday night.

Jay Bruce - Bruce has been on a tear of late as he's slugged .682 and and notched 12 hits including 2 doubles, 2 triples and 4 HR in his past 12 games. On Wednesday he'll face the ice cold Bud Norris who's struggled mightily against LHH this season. That's a shame because Jay has crushed RHH to the tune of a .583 SLG and 43 hits with 25 of them going for extra bases.

Yoenis Cespedes - Cespedes and the Mets will face LHP Jeff Locke on Wednesday night and that's a good thing for Yo and his owners in the fake game because he's dismantled southpaws this season. In 51 plate appearances against lefties Yo has managed an incredible .350/.489/.700 slash line with 2 doubles and 4 HR. It doesn't hurt that he's on fire as he's clobbered 9 hits in his past 4 games including 2 doubles and a HR. Last but not least Locke has been awful against RHH this season and I fully expect that to continue. Heck maybe he'll pitch so badly that Tyler Glasnow will get a chance to replace him in the Pirate's rotation. In any case I absolutely love Cespedes tonight and his moderate price tag is even more inviting. If you're not starting Yoenis on Wednesday night I don't get you.
