NHL DFS Picks for Friday, December 11th
We are back for another night in the NHL and there are seven games on the schedule. There is a nice mix of top end goalies and value options which makes lineup making fun with so many ways to go. You can create a high floor cash lineup with a top goalie and some value plays and then stack a couple top lines and punt goalie and defense. Lets take a look into some matchups and find some core pays for Friday night.
Henrik Lundqvist - Goaltender, Rangers (DraftKings - $8,100 FanDuel - $10,100)
The leagues top goaltender gets a matchup on the road vs. the Oilers on Friday as the Rangers sit as -150 favorites. After a rough stretch in November he has put together three straight games allowing two or less goals against. He has a very high floor as the Rangers are giving up over 30 shots per game in his starts.
Tyler Seguin - Center, Stars (DraftKings - $8,800 FanDuel - $8,700)
He remains tied for 2nd in league scoring with linemate Jamie Benn at 39 points. They have carried the Stars to the leagues #1 offense and 2nd ranked powerplay. He has an extremely high floor as he has recorded 116 shots and a +10 rating. The Stars are in a nice spot Friday night as the Flyers are playing in back to back games on the road.
Rick Nash - Winger, Rangers (DraftKings - $7,000 FanDuel - $9,400)
The production has been very inconsistent this season so he should only be considered in GPP formats Friday night. The shot totals have fallen off but there is upside as he sits 25th in the league averaging 18.3 shot attempts per 60 minutes.
Artemi Panarin - Winger, Blackhawks (DraftKings - $5,900 FanDuel - $5,500)
The NHL rookie leader in points with 28 benefits greatly from playing alongside Patrick Kane and Artem Anisimov. He is a very affordable option on both sites and the Blackhawks will be looking to bounce back after falling 5-1 to the Preds last night.
Jacob Trouba - Defense, Jets (DraftKings - $3,900 FanDuel - $4,700)
A very cheap defense option who can fill the fantasy stat sheet in many categories. He will give you blocks, shots, won't hurt you in the +/- department and has picked up four of his seven points in the last four games. Nice punt option for any format.
