The 12th round of games in Serie A and The Bundesliga will be played this weekend and with one eye on the international break, most teams will be eager to not lose ground in this latest round.

Serie A: Fiorentina, Inter, AC Milan Rising Whilst Juventus Reviving
Serie A, in some ways, has thrown up interesting results thus far. Fiorentina and Inter Milan found inspiring form to lead the table, while defending champions Juventus continue to try and reverse their poor start.
Fiorentina will try to go to into the international break leading the table as they take on Sampdoria. This won’t be an easy game because Sampdoria are a tough proposition on home turf this season so far. They are yet to lose at home which could prove to be a stumbling block for Fiorentina.
Inter Milan is reviving their fortunes under Roberto Mancini and will be eager to continue its good form against Torino. On the road, the Milan giants are yet to lose a game and should find their Turin hosts manageable. Having mastered 1-0 victories, Mancini will not mind if his frugal defense helps ship another clean sheet.
Juventus have revived their form, somewhat, having lost just once in their last five games. This has partially made up for their poor start but they are still way off the top half of the table. What’s more, their troubles away from home this season are well documented with just one win in five matches, and so Juve may find Empoli a tough customer to crack.
One team which has surely revived its fortunes is AC Milan. Riding high on a four match loss-less streak, they are knocking the doors of a top four position. If they continue their form, it won’t be long before they are reckoned as serious challengers. Will Atalanta at home be an easy game? On current form, it definitely looks so!
Bundesliga: Bayern Unstoppable? Can Monchengladbach Continue Their Streak?
There’s no denying the fact that the Bundesliga is a one-horse race as of now. Apart from the last round draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, it was all one-way traffic from Bayern. That, incidentally, is the only match they ended goal less. Time for redemption and backlash? With struggling Stuttgart in sights, that may well prove to be the case.
Moving on from the leaders, we find Borussia Dortmund discovering a renaissance under Thomas Tuchel. The injury to Marco Reus though is bad news, especially with the derby against Schalke awaiting this weekend. Derbies generally throw the form book out of the window especially when the bragging rights are on stake. Tough to pick a winner in this one, so enjoy the hard-fought battle!
Then of course there is the prospect of watching Borussia Monchengladbach in action. Having notched up six wins on the trot, Monchengladbach have revived their season and are currently knocking on the doors of the top half of the table. The arrival of Andre Schubert seems to have revitalized them and should continue their free-flowing football. Then of course is the basement battle between Augsburg and Werder Bremen which should enthral everyone with both teams badly needing points.
