DFS Soccer Goalkeepers for DraftKings MLS

David Ousted, Vancouver Whitecaps ($5,300)

Coming off of a bad outing against Seattle and its powerful offense, it is surprising that Ousted is so pricey, but it is a testament to his upside. Valued at 5,300$, Ousted is a valuable option at goalkeeper. He was a clean sheet hawk at the beginning of the season, averaging 0.5 clean sheets per 90 minutes in his first ten games, and while he has since cooled off, he still has high value. Ousted provides dollar/fantasy point value of $609.20 (he averages 8.7 FPPG), which will definitely give MLS DFS players a lot of for their buck at the goalkeeper position. While he is facing the resurgent NYCFC offense, he should have ample opportunity to make many a save.

DFS Soccer Defenders for DraftKings MLS

Taylor Kemp, DC United ($5,800)

Taylor Kemp has been solid all season, so there is no point in turning away from him now. While the DC United defender does not take many shots (0.16 per 90 minutes), which count as one point in Draftkings, he does have 1.12 key passes per 90 minutes (an indicator of crosses, which count for one point). He has an unusually high assist rate for a defender, at 0.21 assists per 90 minutes, which is an underrated statistic for a defender (assists count for six points in Draftkings). With a value of 892.30$ per fantasy point (he averages 6.5 FPPG), Taylor Kemp will pack a lot of fantasy points into the smallest amount of salary in this week’s Draftkings MLS contests in the defender position.

Chris Tierney, New England Revolution ($6,700)

I feel bad advocating for two of the most expensive defenders available, but the numbers don't lie, and they are priced so high for a reason. In spite of his high price, Chris Tierney still generates tremendous value. Tierney attempts 0.93 shots and completes 1.62 key passes per 90 minutes, both stellar numbers for a defender. He has been averaging 13.3 FPPG as of late and provides a dollar/fantasy point value of $503.76. Tierney’s status as a consistent fantasy producer as well as his high value warrants him a spot ion your lineup.

DFS Midfielders for DraftKings MLS

Ned Grabavoy, NYCFC ($5,000)

Yes, I may be prejudiced, considering I personally witnessed Grabavoy's two-goal performance last weekend against San Jose. He did look really solid on the pitch, and he has high value as a sleeper. He averages 0.79 shots/90 minutes with an astounding 73% accuracy rate, and he scores 0.11 goals per 90 minutes, which for a midfielder isn't great, but for his price is stellar. He averages 1.42 key passes/90 minute, which is solid. He averages 6.4 FPPG to provide a dollar/fantasy point value of $781.25. If you are short on cap space, grab a sleeper with Grabavoy.

Cristian Maidana, Philadelphia Union ($9,200)

For a price of $9,200, Maidana’s production of 12.1 FPPG is still remarkable. His 0.32 assists, 1.32 shot attempts, and 3.11 key passes per 90 minutes are above average. He is facing the staunch defense of New England, but don't count him out. With a dollar/fantasy point value of 760.03$, Maidana still provides great value option at the midfielder position.

DFS Forwards for DraftKings MLS

Kei Kamara, Columbus Crew ($11,400)

Kei Kamara has been playing out of his head all season, and theres no reason to believe that he will stop this week. Kamara scores 0.70 goals/90 minutes, has an astounding 4.59 shots/90 minutes, and garners 1.10 key passes/90 minutes, which are statistics that are remarkable. He averages 19.9FPPG to provide a dollar/fantasy point value of $572.86—an extremely high value at the forward position.

CJ Sapong, Philadelphia Union, ($7,700)

Sapong is shockingly inexpensive for the output he produces. He averages 8.6FPPG and provides a value of 895.35$ per fantasy point. He attempts 2.68 shots per 90 minutes with 51% accuracy and draws an incredible 2.51 penalties per 90 minutes. If you are looking for a safe, than CJ Sapong is the player for you.

DFS Soccer Flex for Draftkings

Giles Barnes, Houston Dynamo ($8,600)

Giles Barnes is a player who has flown under the radar during this season. He averages 0.38 goals scored and 3.09 shot attempts per 90 minutes. He averages 7.3 FPPG to provide a dollar/fantasy point value of $1,178.08, but that stands only for the last five games, not the entire season. Barnes is an intriguing option at the Flex position who could provide well needed value to help provide your Draftkings MLS contest lineup with the boost it needs to come out on top this week.
