Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday, per Turron Davenport of ESPN. Pollard missed practice on Wednesday due to ankle soreness, but it appears he is trending in the right direction ahead of Tennessee's Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants. Pollard has gotten off to a slow start in 2026, recording 99 yards from scrimmage and zero touchdowns on 23 touches across two games. However, fellow Titans back Tyjae Spears (ankle) is battling an ankle injury of his own that could sideline him in Week 3. If Spears does not play, Pollard could be in line for a larger workload as a receiver out of the backfield. If both Pollard and Spears are inactive in Week 3, running backs Julius Chestnut and Nicholas Singleton would be in line to handle backfield duties for Tennessee. UPDATE: Pollard was officially limited in his return to practice.--Will Brady
