Tennessee Titans Running Back Tyjae Spears faces off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a Week 2 home matchup. The third-year back didn't see much work on the ground in Week 1, rushing three times for 12 yards, but he was targeted four times and caught two passes for another 12 yards. More importantly, Spears basically had an even split of the backfield with Tony Pollard, playing 50% of the snaps compared to Pollard's 52%. That's a much more encouraging workload than his five total touches would suggest. Maybe the only saving grace with Spears in this matchup is the fact that Philadelphia allowed the seventh-most receiving yards to running backs last season. Even so, Spears still needs Tennessee's offense to improve before fantasy managers can feel good about starting him, but his receiving role could come in handy if the Titans fall behind. Spears checks in as merely a desperation flex option in PPR formats for managers dealing with injuries or thin running back rooms.--Ryan J. Goodman
