We roll into the final weekend of June with a full Friday night MLB slate as every team is in action. There are plenty of stud pitchers on the mound tonight, with Jacob Misiorowski, Paul Skenes, and Zack Wheeler leading the way. But we also have a really good crop of rising stars on the bump with youngsters like Payton Tolle, Max Meyer, Roki Sasaki, Will Warren, and Taj Bradley. I have pared down my picks to my top six spots tonight, and I'm feeling really good about those, especially after a 2-0 sweep last night with Tatsuya Imai and Bryce Miller crushing their props with big performances.

Roki Sasaki OVER 5.5 strikeouts (+118 FanDuel)
The Dodger youngster gets my featured spot in the article today as I think he is the best "bang for your buck" bet tonight at over 5.5 strikeouts against the San Diego Padres.
Sasaki has been in very good form over the last month, with just one bad start against the White Sox on June 12. He's gone for six or more strikeouts in four of his last six outings and has a strong 13.5% SwStr% that suggests that his 24.1% K% is lagging a bit behind. His stuff is very strong, and the better he gets at sequencing his pitches and putting away hitters, the more his K% will go up. I think he has the potential to be a 27-28% strikeout guy before the year is out.
The matchup is everything tonight, though, and the chart here shows why. Just look at what the last eight RHP have done against the Padres! Only one pitcher (Grant Holmes) has failed to get to six strikeouts, with most righties comfortably going for seven or more.
Keep targeting the Padres until they show us that they are going to make more contact. For now, they are the ultimate golden goose for MLB strikeout prop bettors!
Paul Skenes OVER 7.5 strikeouts (-155 BetMGM)
Grab Skenes at 7.5 while you can, because the juice is high and this prop could move to 8.5 nearly everywhere by tonight. Betting a pitcher over 8.5 strikeouts is a tough feat, and something I have only done with Jacob Misiorowski this year (though I am not doing it tonight against the Cubs).
But Skenes is positioned well here for 8, 9, or even 10 strikeouts as he's facing the Reds and their MLB-worst strikeout rate against RHP over the last two weeks (29%).

In just the last week, we've seen Cam Schlittler go for 13 strikeouts against the Reds, and then Brandon Woodruff and Brandon Sproat rack up 10 strikeouts apiece. The Reds' entire lineup consists of strikeout-prone hitters, and Skenes certainly has the strikeout ability (30% K%, 13.1% SwStr%) to get it done.
Skenes is also at home tonight and has to be motivated to get a win, as those have eluded him this season, despite the Pirates' offense being a much-improved unit.
