Today's best MLB strikeout prop bets and pitcher K props for Friday, June 19. Thunder Dan's expert MLB player prop picks, betting odds, and advanced stat analysis to help you win.
Holy aces, Batman! This particular MLB slate is absolutely loaded with high-end pitching as we get Cam Schlittler, Tarik Skubal, Jacob Misiorowski, and Jacob deGrom all on the bump on the same night! There's a very strong second tier of pitchers toeing the rubber, too, as Kevin Gausman, Cade Cavalli, Landen Roupp, Bryce Miller, Ben Brown, Jose Soriano, and Roki Sasaki all deserve some consideration as well. Buckle up, we've got an absolute banger of a slate tonight!

High-Confidence Strikeout Picks
All odds were current as of 8:00 AM
Cam Schlittler OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-124 FanDuel)
Deciding which two picks to give away to the public was tough today, but I have to roll with Schlittler here in one of the best matchups on the board against the Reds. Perhaps recency bias is in effect here, but Schlittler is coming off an impressive 7-strikeout performance against Toronto in his last start.

Meanwhile, the Reds were just manhandled by Nolan McLean to the tune of nine strikeouts in their last game. Cincy now sits at a 24.1% K% vs. RHP over the last two weeks, good for the 7th-worst mark in MLB. I love Schlittler here at home against a lineup that is loaded with strikeout-prone hitters.
Jacob Misiorowski OVER 8.5 strikeouts (+100 Novig)
Speaking of recency bias, are we really not going to keep attacking the Miz K props after he just pitched one of the most dominant games in MLB history his last time out?
Jacob Misiorowski. 15 STRIKEOUT MADDUX. 😳
9 innings, 0 runs, 15Ks, 1 hit. 0 BBs.

The Miz is now sitting just under a 40% K% on the season, and his splits are pretty wide, too, with a crazy 47% K% against lefties. Guess what? Atlanta will send at least five lefties to the dish tonight, and they rank fourth in K% to RHP over the last two weeks at 24.6%.
We have to abandon our notion that betting the over on an 8.5 strikeout prop is "too high" with Miz. The rules simply don't apply to him, and I think he continues his dominance tonight with another big outing. He's just absolutely locked in right now, and I'd certainly rather bet on him than against him!
