Christian Kirk 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Fantasy Value Limited In 49ers' Crowded Receiver Group
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Christian Kirk was limited to 13 games with the Texans due to hamstring issues in 2025. It was the third consecutive season that Kirk missed multiple weeks due to injury, though he was spared the trips to injured reserve that upended his 2023 and 2024 campaigns. Kirk finished the year with 28 receptions for 239 yards and one touchdown on 52 targets, the least productive season in his eight-year career. After signing with San Francisco in March, Kirk will try for better results in Kyle Shanahan's offense. It might be difficult for Kirk to get quarterback Brock Purdy's attention in a receiver group where upstart Ricky Pearsall and fellow free agent Mike Evans figure to top the depth chart, and George Kittle (Achilles) and Christian McCaffrey will demand a hefty target share of their own. Kirk is listed as the WR87 in RotoBaller's current rankings. He will likely be a better role player on the field than a fantasy asset and can be ignored in drafts.
