Maxx Crosby 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Same Uniform, Same Health Concerns, Different Scheme
Maxx Crosby has wreaked havoc for fantasy managers for years, ranking as a top three DL in Standard IDP Scoring points per game in each of the past three seasons. Unfortunately, health has become a concern for the madman who plays without restraint, costing him five games in 2024 and two in 2025. It is this latest injury that allegedly tanked his trade to Baltimore and may concern fantasy managers who wonder whether the Ravens saw something we don't. Of additional concern is Las Vegas' switch to a 3-4 scheme that may not ideally suit Crosby's skillset, considering he has played most of his career with a hand in the dirt. Of course, there are reasons to expect Crosby will adapt to the new scheme and produce through injury. The Eastern Michigan alum is the rare defender who always produces fantasy points despite not having the best pass rush metrics behind him. The reason for this is that Crosby is a strong run defender with a hot motor that keeps him on the field, allowing him to lead his position in tackles and consistency. It is that consistency that makes Crosby a top fantasy asset, despite mounting concerns.
