Zach Werenski Iffy for Monday's Action
Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski (illness) is a game-time decision for Monday's tilt against the New York Rangers, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports. The star defenseman is dealing with an illness and may exit the lineup for the fifth time this season. Werenski ranks second among defensemen with 65 points (20 goals, 45 assists) in 54 games. Egor Zamula is expected to join the lineup if Werenski can't play. At the same time, Ivan Provorov is likely to see more ice time, while Denton Mateychuk may return to power-play duty.
