Daily Fantasy Basketball: NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (1/20/26)

Anthony Edwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Fantasy Basketball Rankings

Free daily fantasy sports picks for today's slate NBA DFS slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Koby's NBA DFS lineup picks to building winning DFS lineups on January 20th, 2026.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Tonight, we have a seven-game slate of NBA games on this fine Tuesday. We have a couple of banger matchups on prime time between the Spurs and Rockets, as well as the Lakers and Nuggets for the nightcap. Both sites have all seven games, which makes it easier when I don't have to include a pick or two for the site that has an extra game. It should be a good set of games today, so let's start digging in.

As always, watching the injury report updates will be critical to finalizing your strategy. Some big names remain out, such as Nikola Jokic, Kawhi Leonard, Tyler Herro, and RJ Barrett, while guys like Jimmy Butler III, Lauri Markkanen, Josh Giddey, and Paul George are all questionable. There are many more players out, and there will undoubtedly be players who pop up on the injury report tomorrow, or even get ruled out, so keep a close eye on the NBA injury news and make adjustments as needed.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 1/20/26. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. ET on FanDuel and DraftKings. NBA DFS Core Picks

Victor Wembanyama, SAS - PF (FD)/C (DK $10K, FD $10.9K)

I thought about going back with Luka Doncic in that spot, but he has seen a slight decline in production lately. Not saying he isn't viable for his usual 60 bombs, but he has had 47 or less in his last three games.

Meanwhile, we have seen Victor Wembanyama with some massive showings in his last two games, with 57 and 58 fantasy points. The big difference here is the price between the two; that extra $1.2K-$1.5K we save on Wemby for similar production is massive.

Wemby looks to be back to full strength as he is playing more and more minutes now, pushing near 30 minutes a game. The Rockets present a much tougher matchup than the Jazz did last night, but I think Wembanyama is largely matchup-proof and will be able to have a solid night regardless of the matchup. He is quite literally an anomaly, and his ability to block shots is massive for fantasy purposes.

Anthony Edwards, SG/SF (FD) - MIN ($9.2K DK, $9.8K FD)

Anthony Edwards is coming off a massive 55-point performance against the Spurs, and unfortunately still lost the game. I think he comes out hot again; he was snubbed of an All-Star starter spot, and that should only fuel him for a big game. He is averaging nearly 30 points per game and is getting one of the best matchups on the slate against a Jazz defense that has been terrible against SGs this season.

The Jazz give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing SGs on the season. This is purely a cash play. As long as the Jazz don't get blown out here, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw at least 50 fantasy points from Ant.

Edwards is 12th in usage rate this season at 30.7%. In his two previous matchups this season, he has scored 46.5 and 53.2 fantasy points. This will continue being a killer spot for the young guard.

NBA DFS GPP Pivots

Bam Adebayo, PF (FD)/C - MIA ($7.5K DK, $7.9K FD)

Bam Adebayo didn't have a great game in last night's beatdown from the Warriors, but he is going to be stumbling into what is likely one of the best matchups for a center.

The Sacramento Kings continue to bleed fantasy points to big men this season. We saw Donovan Clingan nearly have a 20/20 performance against them just on Sunday night. Adebayo's minutes have been safe from the taking of Kel'el Ware, as coach Erik Spoelstra has been disappointed in his production lately.

Adebayo has the second-highest usage rate on the team at 24% when Herro is out. Adebayo is at a very reasonable price, and matching up against the Kings, who give up the third-most fantasy points, makes for a very juicy play. His having that PF eligibility on FanDuel is massive, as there are quite a few big men who are in good spots on this slate.

Scottie Barnes, SF (FD)/PF - TOR ($9.4K DK, $9.2K FD)

This is generally more than I like to spend on Scottie Barnes, but the Raptors are pretty heavily depleted in the frontcourt, as Jakob Poeltl, Barrett, and Collin Murray-Boyles are all out for this contest.

Barnes is already playing 35-40 minutes, but could see a bump in rebounds with those guys out. He has been averaging 43 fantasy points per game, but he has shown to have triple-double potential, which could lead to a high-scoring fantasy night for him.

With those guys out, Barnes sees a near 2% usage increase to 26%. We actually have data against the Warriors with those two players out; it happened to be one of the most explosive games I've seen from Barnes.

He dropped 23 points, 25 rebounds, and 10 assists to go with four STOCKS on his way to a 77-point fantasy night. If we get anything close to that, then this is a killer play, and I think the price will scare enough people away that we get decent ownership.

NBA DFS Value Picks

Jordan Miller, LAC - SG (DK)/SF (DK $5.4K, FD $5.4K)

Jordan Miller has gone explosive over the last week. He is seeing more and more minutes, and with Leonard out, he should continue to see those minutes and lead this team off the bench.

He has back-to-back 40 fantasy point nights thanks to four steals in both games. His ability to be a hawk on both sides of the ball makes for an elite play. I don't anticipate that we continue to get him for this cheaply, so taking advantage of him now is crucial.

Hopefully you caught this from my man Dan because he was on Miller before anyone!

De'Anthony Melton, GSW - PG/SG (FD)/SF (DK) (DK $4.8K, FD $4.7K)

De'Anthony Melton missed the first half of the back-to-back, but it was likely due to keeping him healthy and not pushing injury. Unfortunately for the Warriors, Butler looked to have hurt his knee pretty badly, which likely leads to him missing extended time.

That being said, Melton should take on a bigger role as he has in past games that Butler has missed. Melton sees a near 5% usage increase when Butler is off the court.

At his price, he can very well put up 25 fantasy points and be an easy value on this slate. The last two times that Butler was out, Melton finished with 27 and 37 fantasy points.

Today's Top Game Stacks

Timberwolves at Jazz (244.5 O/U)

This game has a little bit of everything, studs and value plays across the board, to go with a massive 244.5 point total. Sign me up for that. The Timberwolves are top five in pace this season, and I do expect them to set the tone of the game, leading to what should be a high-scoring game.

Raptors at Warriors (226.5 O/U)

This game doesn't scream that it's going to be a big game, and it is projected as one of the lower-scoring games. But I think it has some solid value options on it, as well as some great stars like Stephen Curry and Barnes.
