Jimmy Snuggerud to Miss Six Weeks After Wrist Surgery
St. Louis Blues right wing Jimmy Snuggerud is set to have left wrist surgery, which will keep him out of action for six weeks. The 21-year-old rookie has struggled recently and now won't get an opportunity to start turning his season around until at least mid-January. Snuggerud has tallied five goals and 11 points in 26 games with the struggling Blues this season. On Monday, St. Louis also ruled out Alexey Toropchenko after he had suffered scalding burns to his legs in a home accident. With Pius Suter (lower body) already on the shelf, the Blues' top six and first power-play unit will feature Dalibor Dvorsky in Monday's game against the Anaheim Ducks. Oskar Sundqvist will also have additional fantasy value as a member of the top power-play unit.
