New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox (upper body) has been placed on long-term Injured Reserve. He is considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury. Fox was hurt in Saturday's loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. After landing on long-term Injured Reserve, Fox must miss at least 10 games and 24 days. The Rangers are struggling to get results this season, and losing one of their best players will make life even tougher for them. Fox has amassed 26 points (three goals, 23 assists) in 27 games, sharing the team lead in scoring with Artemi Panarin. He is the second-highest scoring defenseman in the league.--Taavi Pailk
