Week 12 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Parker Washington, Christian Watson, Darnell Mooney in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.
It's generally more forgiving in fantasy football to whiff on your wide receiver picks in the draft, because you can find more value on the waiver wire.
Not every week is a good week for free-agent receivers that aren't rostered in your fantasy leagues, but there are often wideouts that prove they deserve to be added and at least considered in starting lineups.
Jacksonville Jaguars slot receiver Parker Washington, Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson, and Atlanta Falcons WR Darnell Mooney will be analyzed in the piece below as potential waiver wire pickups for Week 12, so let's dive in!

Parker Washington Week 12 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 65% of Leagues
Baller Move: Don't Add
Well there's not much reason to add Washington now. After a 17.0 PPR fantasy point performance in Week 9 and one of 17.9 in Week 10, Washington scored just 4.0 points in Week 12 by catching both of his two targets for 20 yards. Game script wasn't in his favor, though.
The Jaguars leaned heavily into the run in a game that got out of hand very quickly. The final score was 35-6 in favor of the Jaguars, and Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence finished the game with just 153 passing yards. Still, the volume for Washington was incredibly disappointing.

In Week 10, six of Washington's points came from a punt return touchdown, and he only had three catches, though one of them was for another score. He simply hasn't been productive from a yardage and reception basis the past two weeks, so Week 11's dud shouldn't be a huge surprise.
There really isn't much reason to add Washington now.
Christian Watson Week 12 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in 12- Team Leagues
Watson turned five targets into four receptions for 46 yards and two touchdowns. His volume was ultimately disappointing, as you'd like to see him get more targets, though. The Giants were without their best cornerback, Paulson Adebo (knee), who felt knee tightness in his pre-game warmups and couldn't play.
With tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) out for the season, we could see Watson develop into a more-used red zone target. The problem will always be volume, though -- the Packers love to spread the ball around to their receivers as much as possible, even when some of their pass-catchers are injured.

No matter how well any of their receivers perform, they never seem to get the targets they should. So Watson is a good add in 12-team leagues, and has added relevancy in non-PPR leagues due to touchdown upside and his big-play ability.
It will be hard for him to develop into a must-start, though. He had only four catches, and you shouldn't look past that low volume, as the Packers are a run-first team and he had a nuts matchup this week.
Darnell Mooney Week 12 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in 12-Team Leagues
Disaster struck for Atlanta in Week 11. Their starting quarterback, Michael Penix Jr. (knee), has now been placed on injured reserve after suffering an ACL injury in the game. He'll be out for the rest of the season. And their top wideout, Drake London (knee) suffered a PCL sprain.
The Falcons have stated that London is now "week-to-week" with his injury. He's not yet been placed on injured reserve, but PCL injuries tend to cause players to miss time. San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey had one last year, and it ended his season, and Las Vegas Raiders TE Brock Bowers needed four weeks to recover from his earlier this season.

London was quickly ruled out of the game, and he won't play in Week 12. He could miss more time as well. Mooney, despite having a bad season, is at least worth rostering in 12-team leagues. He's been more productive with Falcons backup QB Kirk Cousins, who now gets the start.
Mooney broke his collarbone early in training camp, but as a volume play, he could be viable in PPR leagues moving forward. That's where you should add him. He had an impressive run in 2024 with Cousins throwing the ball.

He had quite a few explosive outings last season, and is at worst a bench stash. It will depend on how many games London is out for, but there's even possible upside if both are playing.
