Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews (lower body) is expected to miss a week of action. The Maple Leafs captain suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins. Matthews' absence will begin with Thursday's clash against the Los Angeles Kings. During his time on the sidelines, Toronto will use John Tavares as the first-line center. Max Domi is set to start Thursday's game on the second line. Domi has struggled to make a mark this season, but he now finds himself in a good position to get his season going. The 30-year-old will also skate with the first power-play unit on Thursday.--Taavi Pailk
