NFL Survivor Pool Picks: Week 11 Targets and Avoids

Drake Maye - Fantasy Football rankings, NFL DFS Picks, QB Streamers

The top NFL survivor pool picks for Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season. Kevin's weekly survivor league pool targets and avoids -- expert picks for survivor leagues.

Welcome back to our NFL Survivor Pool Picks for Week 11! Congratulations if you're still alive in your Survivor Pool, as there's still a lot of work left to do to be the last entrant standing, but we'll help get you there every week! Week 10 wasn't for the faint of heart, as we had some of the worst games we've had all season, not just from a competitive standpoint, but teams just looking utterly hopeless. Kicking off the festivities last Thursday with Broncos/Raiders and that 10-7 final wasn't exactly a scorching way to begin the week. Neither was the 10-7 game we ended with, thanks to the Eagles and Packers.

Teams definitely asserted themselves in Week 10, as the Seattle Seahawks completely outclassed the Arizona Cardinals, the visiting Detroit Lions took care of the Washington Commanders, and the Baltimore Ravens may just be back in everybody's good graces, ESPECIALLY for survivor pools. Any late-charging teams from now to the end of the season only add more teams to the pool to use, so you can be the last person standing!

All season long, this article will help guide you through weekly Survivor Pool advice for each NFL week, with a handful of teams to target and several teams to avoid using each week. Survivor league strategy is a major part of winning your pools, so we'll help dissect each pick with all angles accounted for. We'll be previewing Week 11 of the NFL season through a Survivor Pool lens, with more information and data points about each team to help guide you on your quest to win your survivor pool!

NFL Survivor Pool Picks: Week 11 Targets and Avoids

Let's look at the Survivor Pool pick recommendations to target and avoid for Week 11!

Top Survivor Pool Picks to Target for Week 11

New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

*My top pick for Week 11*

There's a chance this game sneaks by people because it's the first game of the week in Week 11, but don't be that person! The New England Patriots get a cushy home spot on Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets, who are riding a two-game winning streak. That doesn't mean you can ignore just how truly awful a team they are.

The Patriots are 11.5-point favorites in the highest over/under of the week against the Jets, who are tied with the Tennessee Titans for the lowest implied point total of the Week 11 slate at just 16 points. New England also has the league's longest winning streak at seven games with quarterback and serious MVP candidate Drake Maye at the helm.

With six more games plus a Week 14 bye for the Patriots, their future value in survivor pools is mainly tied to a Week 17 matchup against the Jets at MetLife Stadium. If you still have New England available in your pool, I'd be using it this week in a prime matchup.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

It's safe to say that the pendulum for the Baltimore Ravens has swung back in the other direction following a brutal 1-5 start to the season. With Lamar Jackson back in the saddle for the Ravens, Baltimore has won three straight games and looks to make it a fourth as it travels to Cleveland to face the Browns.

A rare late game for both of these teams in the Eastern time zone, the Ravens are the second-highest over/under of the Week 11 slate as an 8.5-point favorite. Under the Dillon Gabriel regime for the Browns, Cleveland is just 1-4 with one win: a 31-6 stomping of the Miami Dolphins, where Gabriel handed the ball off to Quinshon Judkins to the tune of three rushing scores.

This isn't a game you don't have to go too deep in the weeds for, but Baltimore has its two best matchups for Survivor in the next two weeks: this game and then in Week 12 at home against the Jets. Outside of that, it still has two games with the Steelers and Bengals, the Packers, and the Patriots left on its schedule. If you still have Baltimore available, plan to use it in the next two weeks.

Other Survivor Picks in Consideration:

  • Houston Texans (at TEN)
  • Green Bay Packers (at NYG)

Top Survivor Pool Picks to Avoid for Week 11

Dallas Cowboys at Las Vegas Raiders

Of the teams left in survivor pools, the Dallas Cowboys are much too volatile to use. Even in good matchups, you never have any confidence in how they will perform in a given week. The Cowboys have a road date with the Las Vegas Raiders at the tail end of Week 11 on Monday Night Football. Dallas is just a 3.5-point favorite against the Raiders, but this does feel like a game where the Raiders could galvanize a little bit and give Dallas a rough time.

It's also the highest over/under of the slate at 50.5 points, so with a likely high-scoring affair here, it could come down to splash plays. Both teams can certainly come out firing with players like CeeDee Lamb, Javonte Williams, and George Pickens on the Dallas side, plus Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty on the other side for Las Vegas.

Do I want to be trusting of either team here? Ultimately, we're talking about a 3-5-1 Dallas team faving a 2-7 team. The Cowboys have the power of consensus on their side, and the Raiders are on a mini-bye, coming off an awful game on Thursday Night Football against the Broncos. I'm going to pretend this game doesn't exist for survivor purposes, but I'm not touching this game.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

This is a very risky game from multiple angles, but especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh is 5-4 and one game up on the surging Baltimore Ravens for first in the AFC North, but the Bengals are just two games behind the Steelers. That said, the Steelers are 5.5-point favorites at home against the Bengals, who are fresh off their bye.

You want to beat the Steelers? Do it through the air. Pittsburgh ☑ is now a verified pass funnel and faces Joe Flacco, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and the Bengals. The Steelers allow the most pass attempts per game, with almost 40 pass attempts, and the most passing yards (291) per game. One would think the Bengals would be up to the challenge.

Another game I'm not touching here, knowing that Flacco and the Bengals will be happy enough to be gunslingers and hope that gets them into a game with the Steelers, who are 19th in defensive EPA per pass attempt allowed. Let's leave the Steelers alone this week, and for all weeks moving forward. Their remaining schedule is very formidable, with two games against the Ravens, the Lions, the Bills, and the Bears.

Other Risky Survivor Picks:

  • Minnesota Vikings (vs. CHI)
  • Atlanta Falcons (vs. CAR)
