Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was quiet in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Tennessee Titans, catching just two passes for 41 yards on five targets. His snap share has decreased for a second straight week as fellow wideout Ladd McConkey and rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden are seeing more opportunities.
Still, Allen remains Justin Herbert's most trusted chain-mover. He might rebound next Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially if Herbert relies on quicker throws behind a battered offensive line.
The Steelers' pass rush is improving, and Allen's reliability on short routes could keep him as a stable PPR option despite the reduced volume. Consider him a low-end WR3 with a consistent floor heading into Week 10.
Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs has been a key piece of the offense all season and has now scored in three consecutive games. Downs caught six of nine targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 27-20 loss to the Steelers in Week 9, tying with Alec Pierce for second on the team in receptions.
The 24-year-old has now recorded at least six receptions in three of his last four games and has become Daniel Jones' favorite target on third downs, leading the team with a 30% targets per route run. For the season, Downs' production has been overshadowed by Michael Pittman Jr. and rookie Tyler Warren, and lately, Alec Pierce, but he's still an integral piece of the vaunted Colts offense.
Downs is a solid WR3/flex option in most weeks, and with plenty of bye weeks still to come, he is a solid option to add off the waiver wire for Week 10.
Troy Franklin, WR, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Troy Franklin had a modest game in his team's Week 9 win over the Houston Texans, recording four catches for 27 yards. However, Franklin led the team in targets (10) for the second straight week.
Perhaps most notably, Franklin has now matched or exceeded the target volume of presumed Broncos WR1 Courtland Sutton in four consecutive games. Across nine games in 2025, Franklin has hauled in 37 catches for 385 yards and four touchdowns on 64 targets, two more targets than Sutton has seen (62) across the same number of games.
In any fantasy leagues where Franklin is not already rostered, he's a priority waiver-wire target due to his emerging role in Denver heading into a favorable Week 10 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs had mediocre fantasy production in the first three weeks of the 2025 NFL season. Since Week 4, however, Doubs has been excellent and has cemented his spot as the top wide receiver target for the Packers.
In the last five games, Doubs has averaged 8.2 targets, 5.4 receptions, and 64 receiving yards, providing a much-needed floor for the Packers this season. Now, with Tucker Kraft's season-ending knee injury, Doubs will be relied on even more as the unquestioned top target for the Packers.
At the very least, Doubs keeps his consistent production going through the rest of the season, but if he adds some more looks without Kraft, then he can add some true fantasy ceiling to that solid floor. With double-digit fantasy points in four of his last five games, Doubs should be a fantasy WR3 in a tough matchup against the Eagles in Week 10.
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson returned just two weeks ago, but he could get a big-time upgrade in his opportunity moving forward for the Packers. With the season-ending knee injury to Packers tight end Tucker Kraft, Watson could be the biggest beneficiary of Kraft being out of the lineup.
Watson has four targets in each of his two games since returning from an ACL injury in Week 18 last year, but his workload has ramped up from 65% of routes per dropback in Week 8 to 75% in Week 9. With the litany of injuries surrounding the Packers' pass-catchers, somebody other than Romeo Doubs will have to take the initiative and earn more targets in this offense. With Watson now healthy, he seems like the best bet for that job right now for Green Bay.
With the Packers hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10, consider Watson a low-end flex option for fantasy, with the potential for much more.
