Dylan Strome Remains Out Friday
Washington Capitals center Dylan Strome (lower body) will miss Friday's matchup against the New York Islanders, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports. Strome was initially considered a game-time decision, but he hasn't joined the team for pre-game warmups. This will be his second consecutive absence. Strome has formed a fruitful partnership with Alex Ovechkin on the first line and leads Washington with eight assists in nine games. Additionally, he has scored two goals on 16 shots this season. In Strome's absence, Connor McMichael has taken over top-line center duties. However, McMichael hasn't been a wise fantasy choice this season, going scoreless in eight of 10 games.
