Jake Neighbours to Miss at Least Five Weeks
St. Louis Blues winger Jake Neighbours (leg) has been ruled out for at least five weeks. He injured his right leg on Saturday in a matchup against the Detroit Red Wings and will miss a second consecutive game on Monday night when there's a rematch scheduled against Detroit. Overall, he will probably end up missing around 20 games, which is a significant setback for both the player and the team. Neighbours has been the early-season scoring leader for St. Louis, tallying six goals and seven points in eight games. In his absence, Mathieu Joseph, who scored his first goal of the season in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, may receive increased ice time.
