Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell sounds confident that the team will get defensive tackle Alim McNeill (knee) back this week for their Monday night showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to MLive's Benjamin Raven. "Barring something happening this week, Alim's freakin' playing, man," Campbell said. McNeil has been practicing with the team for the last two weeks and will have to be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list by Saturday to play on Monday. He was a full participant in every practice last week, though, so as long as he doesn't suffer a setback with his knee, he should make his 2025 debut in Week 7. The 25-year-old is one of the best interior defensive lineman in the league when healthy, so the Lions will be getting a big boost to their defensive front.
