Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young and the Panthers' offense were stifled in Sunday's 42-13 loss against the New England Patriots. Young was limited to just 150 yards on 18-of-30 passes and one touchdown while rushing for three yards on one attempt in Sunday's blowout loss. After opening the game with a methodical 76-yard touchdown drive capped by a score to Tommy Tremble, the Panthers were unable to sustain drives, leading directly to 42 unanswered points by New England. The return of All-Pro cornerback Christian Gonzalez proved pivotal for a Patriots unit that had been vulnerable against the pass through the first three weeks. The former No. 1 overall pick was eventually benched late in favor of veteran QB Andy Dalton. Young and the Panthers will now look for a desperately needed turnaround next week against a struggling Miami Dolphins defense, which currently ranks 27th in the league in total yards allowed.--Jp Sticco
