Big Numbers, Ineffective Game For Carson Wentz
Carson Wentz was mostly ineffective on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but ended with strong fantasy numbers thanks to 46 passing attempts, 30 completions, 350 passing yards and two touchdowns in a 24-21 loss. The Vikings' backup struggled overall to operate the offense, holding the ball to the tune of six sacks, throwing two picks, and nearly being intercepted twice on the Vikings' final drive, on which he committed a back-breaking intentional grounding penalty. Wentz is likely to earn at least one more start with J.J. McCarthy (ankle) injured, but he'll have a tough matchup next week with the Vikings' beat-up line facing Cleveland's excellent defensive front.
