St. Louis Blues right wing Jimmy Snuggerud (undisclosed) didn't finish Wednesday's practice. He left the session early after a hard crash into the boards. Blues head coach Jim Montgomery considers Snuggerud day-to-day. It seems that Wednesday's incident is unlikely to affect Snuggerud's availability for opening night. The talented forward will begin his first full season in the NHL, and fantasy managers should keep a close eye on Snuggerud. He notched four points (one goal, three assists) in his first seven NHL outings last season. With a top-six spot and regular power-play time, Snuggerud could contend for the Calder Trophy.--Taavi Pailk
