Andrei Vasilevskiy Sits Out Practice
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy (undisclosed) wasn't on the ice for practice on Saturday. He also sat out a scrimmage on Friday. The former Vezina Trophy winner seems to be dealing with some health issue, but Lightning head coach Jon Cooper doesn't expect him to miss too much time. "It's player management, so he'll be out probably a few days, latest hopefully a week and then he'll be back in there," Cooper said. The Lightning boss added there is no concern that Vasilevskiy won't be ready for the team's season opener on Oct. 9 against the Ottawa Senators. Vasilevskiy has registered at least 30 wins in each of the past eight campaigns and appears poised to remain a top-tier goalie option for fantasy managers in the upcoming season.
