Time to Forget About Xavier Legette?
After a highly anticipated start to the season, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette (hamstring) continues to struggle and heads into a bad matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. Despite quarterback Bryce Young having a career day with 328 yards and three touchdowns in Week 2, Legette was targeted eight times and managed to haul in just one pass for a shocking minus-two yards. It's becoming increasingly clear that Legette and Young are not on the same page. On a day when other receivers found their rhythm with Young, Legette's inability to produce was extremely discouraging. And the bad news keeps coming. Legette was forced to exit Wednesday's practice with hamstring tightness, putting his Week 3 availability in doubt (he's questionable). Given his lack of production and injury, the 6-foot-3, 227-pound receiver is a fantasy afterthought in all redraft and standard leagues right now. He's a name to watch only in the deepest of leagues.
