Is Elic Ayomanor Starting for the Titans? Rookie Fantasy Football Outlook (2025)

Elic Ayomanor - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Draft

Is Elic Ayomanor starting for the Tennessee Titans in fantasy football? Should I Draft Ayomanor in 2025? Read the rookie fantasy football outlook and depth chart analysis.

The Tennessee Titans will be one of the newest-looking teams in the NFL when the season rolls around in a week. Along with drafting Cameron Ward with the first overall pick, Brian Callahan’s team made a number of other moves to revamp what was the worst team in the league last season.

The wide receiver room specifically is full of new faces. Calvin Ridley is the only holdover from last year’s roster, while both veterans and rookies fill out the rest of the room.

Elic Ayomanor, the raw rookie out of Stanford, is one of the new faces that has been making a splash this preseason. Will the Canadian find himself in the starting lineup for Tennessee?

Is Elic Ayomanor Starting for the Tennessee Titans?

Along with drafting Ayomanor in the fourth round, the Titans drafted Wisconsin and Florida product Chimere Dike earlier in the same round. They also signed two veteran receivers in Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson.

While Lockett and Jefferson have a leg up due to their experience, Ayomanor has developed a connection with Ward after being drafted in the same class. He ran with the first team at times in camp, signaling that he could be a day-one starter.

Even if Ayomanor is behind Jefferson and Lockett on the initial depth chart, it should not take long for him to leapfrog the veterans. Both players are well past their prime, and Ayomanor offers a level of explosiveness that the veterans no longer have. Pair that with his rapport with Ward, and he will be in the starting lineup in no time if he isn’t already in Week 1.

Elic Ayomanor Fantasy Football Outlook

In a receiving room with an ambiguous pecking order behind Ridley, Ayomanor offers quite a bit of upside. All it takes is an injury to Ridley, Jefferson, or Lockett, or for him to leapfrog the latter two veterans, and he finds himself in a fantasy-viable role. If Ward turns out to be as good as his number one overall draft status implies, Ayomanor will be a startable WR2 or flex option this season.

He is a raw prospect given that he only started playing football a few seasons ago, but Ayomanor has proven that he can compete at a high level. Just two seasons ago, he put up 13 catches for 294 yards and three touchdowns with Travis Hunter guarding him in a double-overtime win over Colorado. Ayomanor put up numbers in college despite always playing with well below average quarterback play. He could take a massive leap with Ward slinging the rock his way this season.

Should I Draft Elic Ayomanor?

Ayomanor is currently a late-round draft pick - he is essentially free in any redraft league. Whether you went heavy on receiver or not during your draft, he should be a last-round target given his immense upside in this revamped Titans’ offense.

It may take a few weeks before he starts to see a full slate of playing time, but it will be worth holding onto Ayomanor through the early weeks of the season in hopes of a late-season surge from the rookie.
