Nick Bosa 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Just Needs a Little Luck
While Bosa's fantasy value has taken a hit after a dip in sack production following his 2022 NFL Defensive Player of the Year win, the advanced metrics remain strong. In fact, his PFF Pass Rush Grade, pass rush win rate, and pressure rate have all stayed consistent or improved since his penultimate 2022 season. Despite his still solid metrics, there is no denying the fact that Bosa's fantasy production has suffered the past two seasons. After collecting a career-high 18.5 sacks in 2022, he has a combined 19.5 in the two years since. Some theorize this drop has to do with the veteran's new contract and lack of incentive, but that would not explain his still strong advanced metrics and efficiency ratings. Instead, the most logical explanation for Bosa's dip in production the past two seasons is injuries and poor luck. The injuries are a concern, as Bosa has missed time in three of his six NFL seasons, and his brother has his own long history of injuries. However, luck should swing Bosa's way if he can stay on the field. This is particularly true if the highly drafted Mykel Williams can crash the pocket and push quarterbacks towards Bosa more often.
